Chapter 5: A Simple Day

Josephine wakes up and looks at the clock 5:00AM as she thinks why am I up this early? Is it because I'm still getting use to different time zone? Jo looks to her right and sees Jack sleeping with his arm around her.

She has missed this, her and Jack alone Jo blames TK and Punk but that was in the past and she was more interested in the future, when will he be back? He seems to be having fun in Japan especially NJPW where he's a member of BC and House of Torture, she's of course met the group.

The guys seemed overprotective over her despite only just meeting her especially Evil who is the leader of the faction and Sho though she was also close to other members of the group as well.

She takes her phone which was set on the bedside table and checked her phone messages which had a lot from The Bucks about her older sister Leslie who had just debuted.

Great she thought as she texts them both back as Jack was still asleep which she thought was cute tho he was awake about five minutes later.

Groaning a little, Jack sat up and saw Jo "what are you doing up?" He asks "couldn't sleep" she says "understandable, different time zones. I was like that for awhile" he admits.

Jo smiles before placing her phone back down, she'll tell him about Leslie later, she knows that Jack will hate it Jo thought as she layed closer back to Jack.

He kissed her forehead, man has he missed this and the two fell asleep again with Jo staying close to him the entire time.

A little while later the couple was in the living room and Jo was explaining that Leslie decided to join AEW "why now though? She's had plenty of time to do that in the past."

Jo shrugs "hell if I know, Leslie does what she wants, when she wants even if that means betraying family for her own gain" Jo says as that particular moment still hurt and Jack knew it.

She's just glad that she had friends to look out for her when it did happen as well as Jack, and Mason who surprisingly didn't know since he was just as shocked as everyone else.

Jack kissed her to which she kissed back "at least you don't have to worry about that now" he says and Jo smiles since she knew he was right.

The only thing she needs to worry about was the TBS Championship and Kris who was determined to get it back.

Another update for Jo, why is Leslie at AEW? Is she going for Jo's championship or does she want to make amends?

I seriously doubt that last question since Les only cares about herself and her career, next chapter I swear will have members of the House of Torture group.
