"Stupid things have good outcomes all the time" - JJ
Stella, Sarah Cameron's younger sister, tends to get herself into trouble, but nothing prepared her for this. After just one spontaneous hangout with the Pogues, Stella found hers...

Here's Stella's dress for the ceremony :)
Also because this part of the show is technically seen at the end of season three and at the beginning of season four, I wanted to make that clear in the title :) ——
I had completely forgotten that the entire reason I returned to Kildare was to attend the ceremony that the town was holding in our honor. It feels wrong to celebrate despite the recent revelations between JJ and I. I miss the mother that I hardly got to know, and I never had the chance to say goodbye to. Not to mention that the progress of my vision has plateaued, slowed to almost a stand still.
"Are you sure you want to go?" Sarah asks me from her seat on the edge of my bed. "Because you don't have to if you don't want to—"
I stare at myself in the mirror, trying to gage how my sister's dress looks on me, but it's hard to tell. "It's been a month since the accident. I'm sure the whole island has heard about it by now. I don't want to hide it, Sarah." I turn to her. "I want to go. I helped find El Dorado as much as anyone else did."
"Okay, okay." She raises her hands in mock surrender. "I get it."
A suggestive whistle interrupts our conversation. JJ is leaning against the doorframe and even though I can't see it clearly, I can picture the devilish smirk on his face. "There's something about a sun dress," he tuts.
"Aaannd that's my cue." Sarah gets up off my bed and walks out of the room. JJ tips his head to her as she passes by.
After JJ and I talked things through, we walked down the pier hand in hand. Our friends, who were all down at the store were nothing short of elated at the sight of us together again. What started off as shock quickly turned into cheers and applause. We've hardly left each others' sides since.
"Hello there," JJ greets me. He saunters towards me and as he comes closer, he becomes clearer, too. A slick, black leather jacket adorns his shoulders, overtop a clean white undershirt and a black tie. Let's just say he cleans up really nice.
"Hi," I reply sheepishly. "Do I look okay?" I ask him, running my hands down the fabric of my dress to smooth it.
"Okay? Baby, I can't keep my eyes off of you."
I feel my face burn at the comment. I sigh deeply and take his jacket in my hands, pulling him closer to me. "And I thought the waiter uniform was sexy. This is a whole new level." I reach up to his tie. "This, however, was a terrible idea."
His eyebrows furrow. "What? Why?"
I slide my hand upwards, tightening the tie around his neck. "It's awfully tempting," I tease, lowering my voice. I adjust his collar and then press my hands flat against his chest. "There. Much better." My tone returns to it's usual volume and I slowly rake my gaze up until it meets his. "Ready to go?"
