I woke up because I felt like someone was hugging me. I was startled cos I never let anyone sleep beside me except Freen when we were still kids. I look at the woman beside me and I smile. It was Freen sleeping soundly.
I guess my little sister really misses me cos she wouldn't leave her fiancé to sleep beside me if she didn't, right? I looked at my sister and realized that Freen and I were no longer kids and soon she'll have her own family. I hope she still loves her big sister even when she already has a family.
I bid my farewell to the couple and auntie. I told them I needed to come to the office very early since I had a meeting at eight. Aunt made me a sandwich and I thank her for that. And made my way to the penthouse to change clothes.
When I arrive at my office. My secretary told me that the meeting was canceled cos the other party backed out. I was mad because of that and asked my secretary why she didn't call me about it. She said she did but I was out of reach.
I shooed her out and called the man who I should've had a meeting with today. I asked him what happened and he said that my company is not suitable for his business. I yell at him and told him he was an asshole and that I will make sure that no other company will take him.
I ended the call and put my phone on the table. Minutes later my secretary knocked and told me that there was an emergency shareholders meeting. I told her to tell them to wait and I'll just prepare the documents that I needed.
When I arrive at the conference room. Almost all of the shareholders are against that I let my sister Freen be the CEO of the hotel and restaurant chain. I told them 48% of the shares were owned by me 24% was owned by my sister 5% was owned by our aunt.
I also told them that even though my sister doesn't work on-site she made sure to do the necessary things that needed to be done. For example, the management of every branch of hotels and restaurants. They are surprised to know that Freen was able to do that in shadows.
I told the other shareholders that if they think they can tell me what to do with my company then fuck off. I am willing to buy their shares in my company but I will make sure that they will regret their decision.
After my speech. I asked them if they were still against the idea of Freen being in charge of the hotels and restaurants. But all of them answered that they supported my decision to let Freen manage all the restaurants and hotels.
Before I went out. I told each member to think before making a stupid idea to call a shareholder meeting. They all apologized and I just scoffed and went out of the room. I go straight to my office to relax cos I still feel my blood boiling.
How could they think that my sister is not suitable to manage them? I am so furious right now. I told my secretary to cancel all my meetings cos I might do something stupid. I hate it when people underestimate my sister and I's capabilities.
Freen graduated Summa Cum Laude in Business administration and Hotel and Restaurant Management. That's why I know my sister can do her job properly. I know letting my sister manage those would be the best decision I could make cos Freen is very passionate when it comes to working in hotels and restaurants, unlike in any other of our businesses.
