What's so funny is going on here!?, a deep voice echoed in an empty gym

Care to explain miss Hia !?, he spoke now glaring at me .

HIA pov:-
------------

Um..um- it's not what it looks like, i was just looking after his minor injury , and-, i said flustered, the fear of being misunderstood was getting over me

Aren't you running late DYLAN!?, he spoke cutting me off in mid sentence.
He said now giving him a piercing glare , i don't why he was that angry in the first place.

Ohh buddy , why looking so pissed !? Huh, are you afraid that i would steal your girlfriend or something.
I was just asking her out fo--, Dylan spoke in a teasing manner but was again cut off by this angry bird.

Don't go on calling me buddy, now !?
We are enemies! , and i don't care if you ask her out or anything,
she ain't my girlfriend either BUT..

she is my manager and I don't want any type of rumours about you and her,
as everybody is well aware about your college and my college rivalry.
And she is also my junior, i have to keep her away from any kind of danger , that's all.
He spoke sternly,not showing any kind of emotion on his face rather than a little bit of annoyance.

Tch- , whatever , Dylan spoke and started to leave but stop in front of him, coming closer to his ear he spoke something which i couldn't hear but I'm damn sure it wasn't anything good as it makes him more angry and why in the world he is looking at me like that , I haven't even done anything.

As soon as he left, he once again looked at me with those piercing eyes and without uttering any words he also left leaving me all alone in the entire empty gym.

I didn't do anything. I still felt like I had to prove myself right even though I wanted to stay away from all the drama .. but what else can I do,
it's a habit whether it is bad or good, it always takes time to either leave or continue .

No matter how much i pretend, which mask i put on , me is still me .

Still OVERSENSITIVE , a trait which is a curse in this cruel world .

I felt tears rolling down my cheeks,
my temperature is dropping ,
again feeling my palms and feet turning cold, the things unfortunately I'm very used of.

And on top of having a cold didn't help either which turned even worse than before just because of certain someone who loves to misunderstand every damn thing I do,
I should be angry, not him!.

My eyes started to flutter , darkness started to consume me slowly, my head felt so light that I don't remember anything else.

(A loud thud echoed in the empty gymnasium, there she fell unconscious at a very bad time tho , what can I say nothing happened in her favour today .)

(Time skip)

HIAA ..HI- WHAT THE F*CK!!? , hey are you ok !?

(10 mins earlier)

Ohh shit , it's 6 pm already!!
I guess , i must go home now ,

he quickly packed everything and started walking towards the main gate BUT his steps stopped midway when he saw the lights of the gym still burning.

It seems someone is still inside but all the sports team managers have already gone home, only our manager was the last person, who was in the gym.

Which reminded me of the whole scene I had seen while entering the gym earlier.

I don't know why I started feeling it again, that strange anger , i don't even know why I was feeling annoyed in the first place when I saw Hia with him .

At first it really looked like they were making out or something, that's why I behaved that way which i deeply regret rn ....*sigh ,
why I  keep on misunderstanding that girl !?

She seems innocent, I'm the evil one here .

All the chatter in my mind came to a halt by my phone's ringtone.

Ohh, it's DAD!

Yes dad ! , is everything ok?,he asked while still going in the direction of the gymnasium.

That's my line young man, why are you still in college?, his father asked a little bit concerned.

It's nothing, there was just a lot of pending work as the student council head , that's why., he said calmly.

Well come home early i have to discuss something with you and -,he was cut mid sentence by his son's loud scream.

( Current time)

Who's Hia and why you're screaming is everything ok there , EMRIS!? , his dad asked panicking.

Dad , i will explain everything later , is mom home!? , he asked panicking.

Yess Yes she is -

I don't have time can you please tell James to pick me up asap , I will be standing at the main gate, please hurry!! , he cut the call immediately.

He picked up her body so gently ,afraid to hurt her any further than he had already done Today ,
worry was written all over his face from the very moment his eyes laid on her small figure laying unconscious on the corner, while holding her now pale & cold body protectly , he ran towards the main gate .

Going to the gym and playing volleyball has paid off today , as he could carry her with ease despite draining himself out in the match earlier.

Upon reaching the main gate he leaned on the wall catching his breath.

EMRIS POV:-

*deep inhale & exhale
Now that I'm looking at her properly, i can see how pale she is not to mention her body is extremely cold, and her clothes aren't helping her either .

Then regret came upon my mind , ohh shit I was the one who ruined her warm and comfy outfit in the first place, what was I even doing something like that to someone in the month of November.

A car horn broke my trains of thought.

Heyy br- WHY ARE YOU CARRYING A GIRL?..IS SHE DEAD!!??,JAMES his cousin asked with a horrified expression on his face.
