After visiting Camille's photoshoot, Tony heads over to the label's headquarters for his meeting, discussing his next album. He was led into a sleek conference room where executives were already waiting for him; some scrolling through their phones. As Tony entered the room and greeted everybody, he then sits down in a chair and crosses his arms.
"Alright everybody, let's cut to the chase." He said "I'm naming the album Dark Roze. It's bold, different, and it's going to make waves. I'm coming with an all new sound, for this album, I-"
"Wait, hang on." One executive interrupted the superstar "Forgive my interruption. But, Dark Roze?" He asked and Tony nodded in response.
"Yes." He says with a smile.
"Why that?"
"Well, Roses are looked at as something beautiful right? Something everyone loves and usually, they're always red. So, I decided on calling it Dark Roze. To symbolize the darkness within the beauty. And, Roze is spelled with a Z instead of an S. Figured I'd be a little different this time around."
The executives begin talking amongst themselves as Tony pulls out a hard drive from his pocket. Inside the hard drive, contained his cover of Darling Nikki. As the 29 year old plugged the drive in, the song began to play and his lyrics took over the room.
"I knew a girl named Nikki, I guess you could say she was a sex fiend." His voice crooned over the dark sultry beat Louie created "I met her in a hotel lobby, masturbatin' with magazines ..."
Tony watched the executives' faces carefully, noting their raised eyebrows and nods of approval as the music continued. By the time it concluded, the room was quiet, almost reverent.
One of the executives finally broke the silence.
"This ... is incredible. It's dark, edgy, and it's going to be huge." She praised and Tony smiled.
Another nodded. "We'll need a strategy to push the rockstar persona, but honestly, the song speaks for itself."
Tony smirked. "I told you. Dark Roze is going to set the tone for what's next. I want Darling Nikki to be the first single to release cause I still have work that needs to be done."
"And it will." That same executive says and everyone looks at her. "I think it's perfect for the first single."
This catches Tony's attention, something about her was so .. Supportive and genuine.
"Then it's settled. Darling Nikki comes first. A little teaser for your fans, but we need more as time progresses, other wise-"
"Yes Mason, I'm aware. I'm not new to the industry." Tony rebuttals.
After the meeting ends, Tony catches up with that young executive who supported him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name." He says with a smile
"I'm Aalayjah, I'm new to the label. I'm sorry, I was just a big fan of your last album and I think Dark Roze is gonna be big."
"Well hi Aalayjah, I'm Tony." He shakes her hand "Thank you for the support, so you're new to the label?"
Aalayjah nods. "I am, but I've worked with other artists before."
"Oh yeah? Who?" Tony asked
"Her name's Anastasia. She was on a 2 year hiatus cause of personal reasons and I helped her get back on her feet ... Even though it was rocky." She chuckled
"Rocky how?"
"Let's just say her boyfriend was a club owner who was into some sick shit, same with his brother."
After the meeting, Tony goes back to his penthouse and watches the sunset over the horizon of Los Angeles. As he watches, his phone dings and it's a message from one of his close friends saying:
"I'm on my way, don't wait up for me 😉"
Tony chuckles at the sight of the message, using it as inspiration... for the Dark Roze.
