About a month ago, I released a story on this very account titled "Miraculous Ladybug is Garbage and Here's why"
And I do still stand by every single point I made and am making in that book.
Everything abot this show is lazy and unprofessional form the writting to the charecters. This show is nothing but a cornapopia of poor and binal writting and tropes so terrible that its like you put Ross and Rachel into a blender with spider man 3.
But the truth is, it didn't have to be this way. The show wasn't doomed for failure from the get go.
Infact, the parts where miraculous truley shines are its concepts.
Magical superheros embodying animal themes and powers speciifc to those animals?
Brilliant!
The yin-yang dynamic of creation and distruction as ladybugs symbolize luck (and love apparently) and black cats symbolize bad luck?
Amazing! (in theory)
The main heroine solving problems with her brain and not some super special magic blast?
Applause worthy! (in theory)
Cute, goofy romance between the two main leads in super hero forms and civilain forms?
Fun!(in theory)
The pendulum relationship in the Agreste fmaily and Nathalie?
Intresting! (in theory)
The point where the show falters is when it has to bring these amazing ideas and concepts to life because the points where the show excells are no the points the creators prioritize.
So join me as I build on these intresting concepts and trasnform Miraculous Lazybug, The tales of a creepy stalker mary sue, to Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noire, A show truley worthy of international renoun.
