Hanah POV-
As usual, it was a very chaotic day, with students running around the hallways, slamming lockers, peeking into other classes, and stealing glances at their crushes.
I am quite different from the other students as I have a crush on Mr. Park-our English professor. From the very first day of his class, I've always been attentive and, believe it or not, I've never missed a single one.
I like him not just because he is young and has handsome features, but because of his voice, the way he teaches, and how he creates a friendly atmosphere in our class.
It was almost time for his class, and I didn't act like an attention seeker or anything-I mean, definitely not a "pick-me" at all.
As soon as Mr. Park entered, the entire class seemed to fall silent. His presence had that effect-calm yet commanding. He greeted us with his usual warm smile, and for a moment, it felt like the room brightened just a little more.
Mr.Park POV-
As I stepped into the classroom, the lively chatter of students died down, replaced by a respectful silence. It always amused me how the room could shift so quickly. I glanced around, scanning the familiar faces.
My gaze landed on her-seated near the window, as always. She was scribbling something in her notebook, her head slightly tilted, pretending not to notice me. There was something different about her, a quiet attentiveness that stood out from the others.
I cleared my throat and began the lesson, but a small part of me couldn't help but wonder if she realized how much her focus didn't go unnoticed.
Mr park POV-
The gentle knock on the door pulled me away from my notes. "Come in," I called out, assuming it was another student needing clarification. When the door opened, I looked up to see her standing there, clutching her notebook.
Her voice was soft but steady as she explained her doubt. I motioned for her to take a seat, watching her as she hesitated for a moment before sitting down. There was something endearing about the way she spoke-earnest, with a hint of nervousness, as though she thought her question might be silly.
As I explained the concept, I couldn't help but notice how intently she listened, her eyes following my every word. It wasn't the first time she'd come to me for help, but something about this moment felt... different. When I finished, she nodded, her lips curling into a small, grateful smile.
"Did that help?" I asked, keeping my tone professional, though her presence had me feeling just the slightest bit distracted.
Hanah POV-
After few days ,I noticed something that made me pause. Just down the hallway, Mr. Park was standing with another professor-a young, beautiful woman I hadn't seen before.
She was laughing softly at something he said, her hand resting lightly on his arm. The sight sent an unexpected pang through my chest, and I hated how my mind immediately jumped to conclusions.
I tried to shake it off, convincing myself it was nothing. "Why would it matter?" I muttered under my breath, clutching my notebook tightly. Still, as I walked away, I couldn't ignore the strange heaviness that settled in my heart.
For the past few days, I couldn't help but notice a shift in Hanah's behavior. She wasn't her usual attentive self in class, and every time our eyes met, she would quickly look away.
After class, she no longer lingered like she used to. In fact, she seemed to go out of her way to avoid me. Once, I caught her in the hallway, and the moment she saw me, she turned on her heel and practically ran the other way.
