9. A Place to Hide

Lilly's POV
It was illusion I made, I was seen to be right in front of him, but I was a foot away from my actual spot. The spell hit a wall, but that's not what anyone saw.
Bellatrix saw my dead body and said, "Are you sure she is dead, My Lord?"
He said, "Go ahead and make sure if you want..." Bellatrix tortured me and on the inside I was screaming, on the outside, I lay still.
He shouted to some random Death Eater, "Throw her body in the sewers where she can rot!" He did as told, he heard a splashing noise when I threw a big rock in the sewer. I changed clothes in a flash and took my hair out of its hairstyle. I saw Harry, Hermione, and Ron made it out okay. They were in an alley on Trottenham Court Road. Hermione expand the Undetectable Extension Charm on her bag and she packed everything tonight. Ron said, "You're amazing, you are..."
She smiled and said as she handed him a pair of jeans, "Always the tone of surprise..."
They went to a cafe and Harry noticed two workers. I hissed in their minds, "Down!"
Harry, invisible, Stunned one, and then after the other Death Eater still standing Disarmed Harry, Hermione Petrified them. I said in their minds, "Wipe their memory! Meet me at Grimmauld Place..."
Hermione wiped their memory and then they appeared on the street opposite of it. I met up with them and hugged them. I said, "No one followed you here, everything's alright, we need to get inside." We opened the door and then hastily locked it.

Hermione whispered, "I think somebody's been in here..."
Mad-Eye Moody's voice came from the darkness as Harry took a step.
"Severus Snape?"
Harry yelled, "We aren't Snape!"
No one had the ability to speak after that, but and Hermionie stuttered, "That m-must have b-been a T-Tounge Tying Curse Mad-Eye set up for Snape."
Then a big whisp dust made figure appeared and Hermione and Mrs. Black screamed. Harry yelled, "No! No! It wasn't us! We didn't kill you-" the figure disappeared and I had my wand out, Hermione was in the corner next to the door, her arms above her head and Ron, shaking a lot was standing next to her, clumsily patting her shoulder.
He helped her up and Mrs. Black started to scream again before Harry closed the curtain on her. Hermione used a spell to reveal if anyone was there and no one else was.
Harry had a pain in his head, he said he felt anger. A Patronus had come after us and it turned out to be a weasel. Mr. Weasley's voice rang out, "Family safe, do not reply, we are being watched."
Ron collapsed on the sofa with a mix of a whimper and a groan.
Hermione joined him gripping his arm.
Hermione asked me if Harry could still have the Trace on him and I said, "No, Trace breaks at seventeen, Wizarding law..." They believed me.
Hermione didn't want to be on her own and she suggested sleeping bags. Harry went to the bathroom and I said, "I'm going to contact, Neville, he must be worried..."
Hermione asked, "How are you going to contact him?"
I showed her my mom's wedding ring and said, "He has my dad's ring, it's going to be our way of contact... Don't worry, when we talk he'll have a shield around his mind so no one can tell we are talking."

I thought of Neville and my ring became a bit warm like the Galleon we used for Dumbledore's Army. I asked, "Neville, are you there?"
He said, "Oh thank Merlin, are you alright, where are you?" I felt his relief.
I said, "I'm alright, just need a good shower, I'm at my dad's place with Ron, Hermione, and Harry. We're safe... I'm heading to bed, you to bed as well... we've all had a long day." He said, "Alright, good night, I love you..."
I felt his happiness and I said, "Good night, I love you..."
She smiled and went to give Harry his toothbrush. I saw what Harry saw. Malfoy was torturing Rowle. The look on his face showed he didn't want to do it at all. I wanted to comfort him, but I was technically dead...
