12. Magic is Might

Lilly's POV
August past quickly at Grimmauld Place we had many people lurking but let it be; we knew we were protected.
On September first half a dozen men were outside with long cloaks.
I played a bit of the panio that was in the living room while Harry were watching the Ministry entrance and Hermione was upstairs writting getting details from Ron. Remus was raised by one Muggle parent and he introduced Sirius to Muggle music who in turn, introduced it to me. I fell in love with Muggle classical music. I was playing some mix of Beethovan and my own music.
Harry almost lost his balance as he Aparated on the front step, but he was alright. I walked to the table and Harry came in. He showed us that Severus Snape was now Headmaster of Hogwarts. Hermione ran off to grab Phineas Nigellus's portrait here and she shoved him in her handbag. Hermione and Ron got into an argument over a detail he forgot.
Harry wanted to go tomorrow and after a good amount of arguing, I said, "Hermione, look, everything will be okay... All of us have a risk to be there, but we have to do it, otherwise it will get us nowhere!"
We started to plan a bit when Harry rushed to the bathroom. We went after him as soon as we heard shouting.
We ran up the stairs and Harry opened the door after a few seconds. Hermione insisted on Harry to close his mind, but right now, it's the only thing helping us... anway, we spent the night going over the plan. I would be better invisible rather than an actual person.
As I was reciting the plan for the tenth time, my face suddenly went slack as I saw the scene before me.
Death Eaters stopped the train and searched it. One came up to the open compartments of the train and Neville stood up and said, "Hey losers, he isn't here."
The Death Eater wanted to hex him, but left. Neville sat down.
Harry was shaking me. I thought of Neville, jumped from my seat, and I yelled into my ring, "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL WERE YOU THINKING NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM? YOU COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED ON THE SPOT!"
He recovered from the minor headache I just gave him and said, "It was something I wanted to say, are you spying on me?!"
I yelled, "No, I'm not, but I am warned when a big event is going to happen and you just sealed your fate for the rest of the year!"
He said, "I'll be okay, Lilly, really. Everything will be okay, I'm not going to get hurt..."
I scoffed and said, "You will and when you do, you better let me know about it otherwise your in trouble with me! No wonder the Sorting Hat put you in Gryffindor! You're recklessly brave!"
He grumbled, "Look, I'm sorry, I'll try to restrain myself when it comes to things at Hogwarts, but things will change at Hogwarts, you said it yourself! I want my chance to make a change..."
I said, "Fine, but I want daily updates from you, and if I find out you're hurt and you don't tell me, you're in deep trouble, Neville!"
He said, "Yeah, love you..."
I said, "Love you..."
I sat down and they all looked at me awestrucked. Ron asked, "What the bloody hell was that about?"
I explained what happened and said, "Look, can we just forget it and continue with the plan..." They nodded.

I talked to Neville that night, apologizing for giving him a headache and went to bed.

The next morning, we ate breakfast and started the plan. I Apparated first waiting for everyone. Then, waited for everyone else to come. We opened a door before Mafalda Hopkirk arrived and Hermione Stunned her.
Reg Cattermole arrived and Hermione made him eat a Puking Pastel which sent him home. After Ron transformed him and Hermione got hairs for Harry. It was Albert Runcorn.
I followed Hermione invisible, but whispered to the boys in their minds once they got to the toilets, "Flush yourself in!"
We got in and they saw the statue with the Muggles. I said, "The Ministry has changed, the levels must be the same, we need to get to the lifts."
Yaxley showed up and he threatened Reg's wife's blood status just so something would happen faster! After he walked away I clenched my fist and growled in their minds, "Yaxley has my job! I'm going to have to destroy my whole office and then rebuild it just to get an inch of his filth off my walls!"
Hermione replied, "But you're not the head anymore..."
I said, "Yeah, I'm not, but I will be!"
Hermione made suggestions for Ron on how to fix Yaxley's office that was raining and I said, "I'm going with him..." I walked off with Ron and I saw that they found Umbridge.
