The Middle One Will Die

004: 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜?

I decided to stay in Monaco as I was so late with Antares. I had given the cookies to him just before we had separated.

But then came a problem: where do I sleep? I can't go with Antares to my old 'home', so I have to work out something else.

I went through all my friends who live in Monaco:
Nyota
The Ploenses
James
Elias

I ended up choosing the Ploenses as they live the nearest to the mall. Haven't seen them for a while, either.

It was still bright, even though it's 8:40 pm.

It's almost the same distance from the mall to the Ploenses as it's from the mall to the school where I had walked to the mall from.

I rang the doorbell of their large house, and a ten-year-old boy with a little pale skin, messy blonde hair and grey eyes opened the door for me almost immediately.

"Kai!" I exclaimed.

"Alora?" he questioned. He's the youngest of the family.

"Who's there?" I heard a woman's voice call from the house. Must be Andromeda, the mother of the family.

"Alora," Kai called back and Andromeda came to the door next to her son. She has the same eyes as Kai, but even paler skin and wavy chocolate brown hair with side bangs. She didn't look like a... wait, how old is she? ...She didn't look like a 39 years old woman, she looked much younger.

"Nice to see you," she smiled a bit at me. "What brings you here?" she asked.

"I was seeing Antares and decided to stay here in Monaco for the night," I explained. "I was wondering if I could sleep the night here?" I asked hopefully.
Well, if it's not okay I still have Nyota, James or Elias to go stay at.

"Of course you can," Andromeda smiled. "You can sleep in Chloe's, Alva's or the visitors' room," she said and she and Kai made space for me to walk inside.

I left my shoes in the entry and walked behind Andromeda and Kai further in the house. First came the living room and the stairs on right. They have a bookshelf wall on the left side of the living room and there's a hole that leads to the dining hall, which leads to the kitchen. Their house has nice light colours.

"Alva and Emmett are in the cellar and Chloe's somewhere on the second floor," Andromeda told me.
"Chloe!" she then shouted and a ginger haired girl with the same hairstyle as me -the butterfly cut- and grey blue eyes came down the stairs. She was wearing little, glittery circle earrings.

"What?" she asked her mother, but then saw me. "Alora!" she exclaimed.

"Hi," I said.

"Say if you need something," Andromeda said and left upstairs. I have no idea if she left to second or third floor, nor do I really care.

"Want to go to the cellar?" Chloe asked me and I nodded.

"I'll come too!" Kai said and so we three walked down the stairs to the cellar where we found Alva and Emmett sitting on beanbag chairs on the left side of the room.

They have a pool in the middle of the room, on the left side of the room five beanbag chairs, on the back wall two armchairs and on the right side -which is the biggest, as there the room is continued further- there is a couch, one sunbed and a little couch table.

We walked up to Alva and Emmett, who raised their gazes to us.

"Alora!" they both exclaimed and stood up.

Alva's beautiful blonde hair was again on a messy bun, like usual. Her skin colour is like Kai's and her ice blue eyes now looking at me. She has pretty much ear piercings: standard and upper lobe piercing in both ears, rook and triple helix piercing in right, and flat helix in left.
