★- Roommates! -★

"Hey everybody? How's it goin'!" They spun in the air

"Not good!! We just LOST the challenge!" Red Apple Slice pouted, stomping her feet

"Yep! And elimination is tonight!" Host crossed her arms, he had a grin on her face. "Anyways! You all need a place to live, so I'd better just make one"

"you can make a hou-?" Mushroom asked, before being rudely interrupted by Host! How dare he! ... She? They? He couldn't tell.

"Yep! I can make almost anything!" Host replied, proudly putting its hand on their hip

"Cool! What can't you make?" Glowstick piped in, she was in a happy mood, winning the challenge and all.

Mushroom just glared at her, he was clearly in a pissy mood ever since he loss. He just hoped Glowstick wouldn't drag it on forever.

Host just looked down at his feet, she wasn't floating anymore. Just standing on the ground, a solemn look on its face. Before they just blinked up and grinned "You guess! Besides, it's no worrryyyy! Not like a cure for anything or something nah! Trust me" one thing about Host, he was a bad liar.

"is it a cure for something?" Mushroom asked, a deadpan look in his eyes. ' This guy cannot be kidding me ' he thought.

"Nope! Anyways here's your um.. big house thingy with lots of rooms. I think it's called an apartment" everybody was a little confused on how Host didn't know what an apartment was, but considering Host was an green alien circle thing with antennas and a tail, they let it slide.. or atleast they think Host has two antennas. The place where the other should be had a top hat instead. Host snapped and an apartment appeared, she looked proud of itself.

Prince Crowny The Sixth just crossed his arms "An apartment? I was expecting a royal castle." He scoffed

"Yo dudeeeesssss" Pizza dragged out their sentence "Let's just get in the apartment y'know guys"

"fine, but I expect the most royal treatment from here on fourth!" Crown declared, crossing his arms.

"sheesh. He's not even a-" Burger started before being cut off by Glowstick.

"Woah!! We're competing with a royal? No way!" She was jumping up and down, clearly very excited

"Yes, the fact you didn't notice this before is hilarious." Crown crossed his arms, looking Glowstick up and down, his gaze judgmental. It was like he was analyzing Glowstick, she felt uncomfortable under the seemingly long minute of stares from this royal dude.

"my bad I guess, still can't believe we're competing with a famous royal!" She exclaimed

"Now! Everyone, just find a dorm with someone. And since there's like 9 players, one of you can choose to be alone!" Host began to float again

Battery wanted to request to be the one without a roommate, but couldn't find it within her

"I call being alone, everyone here seems like terrible roommates. Besides I know all of you want to be with the best player on any team-" Mushroom bragged, placing a hand on his hip. A smug smirk engraved on his face

"yeah yeah, don't forget I beat you in the challenge!" Glowstick teased

"I still got first" Mushroom crossed his arms, looking away. His smirk was replaced with a more annoyed look.

"whatever" Glowstick rolled her eyes, walking over to the apartment

"hm. Id rather be alone too, but I guess I pick Burger to be my roommate." Prince Crowny The Sixth shrugged, looking over to Burger.

Burger just shook her head, sighing "Fine, not like I have much choice"

"My sister" Green Apple Slice Stated, her voice sounded like she had just woken up, despite not, and she had eye bags under her eyes. She didn't really seem like she wanted to be here either.

Red Apple Slice just nodded, atleast she'll be roommates with her sister.

Glowstick was just contemplating who to be roommates with

"Yo Muffin, wanna be roommates?" Pizza asked, their voice kinda loud as if they were calling out to him, despite him being right next to them.

"why not." Muffin said, shrugging.

"so that leaves Glowstick and Battery, I don't care if you hate each other should've picked a person earlier!"

"Oh.. uh cool." Battery said, it was nervous, she didn't really talk to anyone here, it was more of a recluse.

"Awesome!" Glowstick smiled

As Glowstick step foot into the apartment. The floors beneath her were wooden, and the space around her was recently cleaned. The walls were grey with a blue tint. As she walked around with Battery she eventually found an old chipped desk with keys. It looks like everybody else was already there before the two. The pairs (and Mushroom) grabbed a pair of keys, so did Glowstick, hers had the number '145' engraved on it, she felt giddy with excitement, she was going to live in an apartment without having to pay? Awesome!

Battery, on the other hand, seemed quite anxious. It was fidgeting with her hands. Often looking around, or avoiding eye contact.

It didn't take the two a while to find the stairs, it was quite easy actually, they were right next to the desk. As the two walked up, Glowstick noticed Battery seemed nervous, but paid no mind to it, for now atleast. She was no intruder on personal stuff.

Once they finally got to their room, Battery was out of breath? How, Glowstick didn't know. It was only one flight of stairs, but Battery was trying to catch her breath.

Glowstick couldn't help but find herself staring at Battery's eyes. They were yellow, they looked... Cool.

"so, on the keys it says our room is 145" Glowstick said, looking at the ground. She hoped Battery didn't notice her staring.

"That should be down the hallway, right?" Battery asked, uncertainty in her voice

"yep!" Glowstick exclaimed
