[ TEST TUBE'S TERM ]

"Ah! Tissues, Tissues, Tissues!" I said, tapping my glass and adjusting my glasses.

"H-Hi Test..." Tissues sneezed, then continued. "Tube."

I put a thermometer in his mouth, holding it for a few seconds before taking it out. You see, poor old Tissues has lived like this forever. Getting made fun of his whole life, but this day, this day was going to be something different.

"Tissues, I would like to cure your condition." I said, standing on my chair to grab a book.

Tissues eyes lit up with excitement. "Really? My condishwon?" Tissues excitedly swayed his legs back and forth.

"Yes. Your condishwon..." I repeated what he said, carefully getting down from my chair.

I quickly read through the pages, getting every key detail I needed to cure him. I didn't want his excitement to drain that fast!

I got a syringe from the counter and walked up to Tissues; his eyes widened in fear.

"Close your eyes, it will only be a second." I reassured him.

Surprisingly, he closed his eyes as I injected heavy medicines to cure him.

This might've been a bad idea, considering there has been no actual and official cure for this. But it's the infection, and I didn't want any objects to die such a pitiful life.

"You're done, sweetheart." I put a soft smile on my face, wiping the tears he cried from the shot. I put the data in a small container to study it later, putting the lid on and putting it in a special fridge.

"Thank you... Test Tube." He softly said, smiling.

"Alright, you can go." I said.

Tissues left, but before I could put the book back, he immediately came running back, shaking in fear.

"A-acid rain." He tightly hugged onto my leg.

"Great." I sighed.

Acid rain didn't happen often, but when it did, it was bad. It was almost like a famine. There was no prediction on when it starts or ends. Millions of crops would die from the rain. You had to be prepared with food at all times. I can't imagine how Oj feels right now. Acid rain could happen any day, going on for an hour, a day, or even a whole month if you're really unlucky.

[ OJ'S TERM ]

"Oj! Oj!" Soap exclaimed, hurriedly rushing to me with a sponge still in her hand.

"Hm?" I said.

"Acid rain!" Soap exclaimed.

"I'll deal with it, thank you." I said, containing my worries.

I rushed to Paper, telling him to turn off anything electrical, everything but the radios. We've dealt with this multiple times before; it was nothing new. On the first acid rain, our residents were concerned and worried. But now, people don't seem to really be surprised. In fact, it has been happening a lot more now from what I noticed.
