Cobra. Kai.

With her eyes glued to the laptop screen, Robyn tapped her fingers on the wooden top of her kitchen table and, a few paragraphs later, tilted her head to the side. A name she hadn't heard in a long time, let alone read. Some twenty, twenty-five years.

A thoughtful gasp escaped Robyn's lips and she closed her eyes, letting herself fall back against the back of the chair.

This did not bode well.
It meant trouble.

A journey into the past. Dealing with the past.

So far, her phone had not rung or announced a message. A good sign. An excellent sign. Hopefully it would stay that way for a long time. The longer the better.

It was a surprise. More than that. It came out of nowhere. What had tempted Johhny Lawrence to come out of the woodwork, and not just that. A dojo. The former student of Kreese opened a dojo. A real dojo and with the name Cobra Kai of all things.

It was beyond Robyn's comprehension.

But the story didn't end there. Not by a long shot. A no-name, a loser, won the All Valley Tournament for under eighteen year olds in his first appearance.

The founder himself, John Kreese, returned to take over Cobra Kai. And former protégé and current Sensei Lawrence started a new dojo, Eagle Fang Karate, without a dojo, mind you. Somewhere in the middle of the article an accident was mentioned. And other blah blah blah.

It was great. A month, two at the most, and then the time had come.
