Mistake. It had been a mistake, a huge one, and Robyn had only herself to blame. Why hadn't she switched her phone to silent before going to sleep and mentioned in the last message which hotel she would be in?

A mistake. Yes, you often don't realize you've made a mistake until it's too late.

Still half asleep, Robyn pushed herself to her feet and shuffled slowly to the door, for someone was certainly not going to be quiet. She didn't even notice what time it was. Not in the slightest. It could be seven o'clock or ten o'clock.

"Go die." Robyn opened the door without looking to see who was actually standing there and went straight back to the bed.

"I'm glad to see you too," the right voice replied; followed by the sound of a door being closed and footsteps following it, "Someone obviously slept well."

"Nathaniel," Robyn began, dropping onto her bed, sitting cross-legged and looking over at her old friend and coach, "Five minutes, okay? Just shut up for five minutes.... please. I.... No."

Silence in the morning. That was all Robyn wanted. In general. In the mornings, she wanted peace and quiet and no conversations. First to wake up and then, at some point, other people were okay.

Not immediately afterwards and certainly not when she was getting up.

A smirk began to form on Connor's face, because that was how Nathaniel knew his girlfriend. Not always an advantage, but that never seemed to bother Robyn, so it had never changed and wouldn't change in the future.

When Robyn opened her eyes, a steaming mug hovered in front of her face, which she took from Nathaniel's hand after a cursory and grumbling glance upwards.
