THE BIG 3.

THE "BIG 3" in Greek mythology are Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades-- the three most powerful gods of the pantheon. Hades is the ruler of the Underworld, known for his brooding and dark nature. Poseidon is ruler of the seas, known for his carefree and chaotic nature. Zeus is the ruler of the heavens, mighty in all ways and, not arguably, the most powerful of all the gods.

But trainees don't care about the Big 3 of Greek mythology.

The only "Big 3" they care about are the "Big 3" companies-- SM, JYP, and YG. Instead of Poseidon, you have JYP Entertainment. Instead of Hades, it's YG Entertainment. Finally, just like Zeus, SM Entertainment is the most popular and prominent of companies.

If you made it to one of those companies, you were guaranteed a good future-- granted you survived the grueling training process and made the debut cut. If you debuted, you would MAKE IT BIG. ━

THE YEAR IS 2011.

BIGBANG AND 2NE1 have dominated the charts.

2NE1 had much success with "I Am the Best", most notably wining Song of the Year at the 2011 MAMAs, becoming the first group to win SOTY twice at MAMA.

To say BIGBANG had massive success with Tonight was an understatement. Even though they only promoted for half a year, they still made ₩78 billion, and had earned ₩7 billion just a week after the album was released.

Next year is slated to be the same-- SUCCESS AFTER SUCCESS. ━

NO ONE CARES.

BUT THE FEMALE trainees at YG Entertainment don't care.

They don't care because they're just that-- trainees. They have not debuted, but they sure are worrying about it. YG Entertainment announced halfway through the year, in response to an insider report, that a new girl group would debut next year.

So, the trainees don't care because they have to make the cut first. They actually have to make it to the final lineup before they worry about being successful or popular enough.

Among the 15 pre-debut members of YG NEW GIRL GROUP, who are competing for the spot, only 5 will make it to the final lineup of PINK PUNK (the tentative debut name).
