Chapter 2

"All are free to get an exam for the scholarship,Mr. and Mrs. Craig's offering."Our teacher said.

Today,she said that the Craigs have offered a scholarship.All we need to do is to take the examination the school had prepared for all those who're interested.

Zero elbowed me."wanna give it a try?" she said.

I nodded.So later the after the classes were over,we went to the administration building.

At first, I hesitated.'Cause I don't feel I'm gonna get it.But with Zero's encouraging words,I decided to give it try, since we're already there.

"We'll just call you for the results. Good luck to both of you."Our teacher said while smiling.

I just hope we'll pass it.I really need to get that thing. I can't live with my masters forever,I'm gonna die if it will happen.

When I reached home,"I'm here."

"Thank goodness! Diana, could you go to the store and buy me some sanitary pads."Celine said giving me money before I could say no. Darn it!!

After that thing. Finally! I got to have my alone time. See that? ALONE TIME,meaning just me,myself and I.

The whole week went smoothly for me.But of course we can't run away with those, "Diana, look for my.." "Diana,Clean this up." "Diana,water." "Diana,fan." "Diana,T.V." "Dina." "Diana." Augh! Fuck it!!

So you can imagine how my weekend goes......

They might even say,"Diana,wash my butt." "Diana,feed me." "Diana,carry me."It sucks. Like I'm babysitting idiot human beings.Much more like a retarded.

But do I have a choice?

The next day, I was too early for the class, so Zero and I just roam around the campus before the flag ceremony.You know girl stuffs. She's hunting for her dream guys.Read that? DREAM GUYS. she' into cute, tall,white,Mr. Perfect types, SOO MUCH! I mean, I like boys too, I got crushes.But,not like her. I think she has more than ten crushes and that doesn't Include her crushes outside the school and her celebrity crushes. God! I think it will sum up of 30++.

"Hey, the ceremony's 'bout to start." I told Zero while we're sitting on one the benches.

"Let's go!" she said pulling me.

When we got to our spot, I saw Mrs. Rivera on stage, she got a paper on her hands.

I wonder what's that..

"Good morning everyone," she greeted with a smile.

And all greeted her back in chorus.

"I have an announcement to make." she said still smiling.

Oh My Gosh!! Why am I so nervous??

"Last week, we announced that the Craigs are giving scholarships for students who in need but have determination on finishing their studies."

Ow, c'mon just say it!

"In my hand are the two lucky students who passed the exam." she' giving me a knots!

" And those lucky students are..." The whole crowd was on silence.

"Diana Lopez and Zero Vergara."

OH MY HOLY GOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did I heard it right!!?? Me and Zero passed? Really? This woman's kidding me.This isn't true, this isn't happening....

"Hey! They're calling us up on stage." Zero saying that brought me back to my senses.

We made our way up on the stage. Everyone cheered and shouted. I just smiled back and thank God silently. This is the beginning of my luck, I can feel that.
