Lexie Lewis was sat in her room at the stark tower staring at a picture on her nightstand. It was a photo taken around a year ago. Tony and her were laughing at each other not even aware that pepper took a photo. That was before the attack on New York. Luckily when Loki came to earth Lexie was away on assignment in Japan, far away from any danger.

A knock on her door broke her train of thought.

"Hey kid, how you doing?" Tony walked in, a soft grin on his face but a sadness behind his eyes knowing what was coming.

Lexie smiled up at him placing the framed picture back. " All packed."

Tony sat next to her slinging an arm round her shoulder. "I will miss you, you know." He whispered into her ear.

"I know me too." Lexie replied pulling back. "But I will call every other day and-"

She stopped herself looking up at her father. "I will see you soon."

Moments passed until Tony got up and sighed heavily, picking up Lexie's bag. " Hill is going to be here soon and that woman is terrifying so lets not make you late Agent Lewis." He grinned back at her.

"Okay lets do this."
