Chapter five

                                                                                     Proposal 
Leia hopped out of bed the next morning and took a shower. She brushed her teeth and put her favorite outfit on, it was a black leather jump-suit with a black belt. She spent thirty minutes in front of her lit-up bathroom mirror styling her hair. The final look she decided on was a slick-shiny braid, it was quite long. She texted Bella saying "Hey, how'd the mission go? Also, I blame you for me not being able to sleep last night, that Frappuccino KILLED me!" After getting herself ready she gathered her thoughts and headed over to Wyatt's temporary dorm, they kept him in a dorm because the government let him off with just house jail. She creaked the door open and found him sitting on the bed, his right arm was resting on his right leg which was propped up. "You're up early" Commented Leia, "I was gonna say the same thing," said Wyatt in a groggy voice, "I'm an agent, silly," Said Leia, smirking. Wyatt rolled his eyes, he had just woken up and back-talk was too much for him that early. "Anyways, why are you here this early? Isn't your session later on?" He asked with an attitude, "I'm here this early, because I have work to do, and part of that is offering you this" said Leia, handing him a form. Wyatt had a puzzled look on his face as he reached for the form, "Offer me what?" He asked. Leia smiled, "Read the form," Wyatt scanned over the form quickly and looked back up at Leia, still slightly confused, his brown eyes glistened in the light of the early morning sun coming through the window, "You want me to...work with you?" He asked, "More like work FOR us," Leia replied, "Why?" Wyatt quarried, "My boss read through your file, and he found it quite impressive, he's aware of what you said about being 'jobless' and he offers you to work here, for Covenant" Replied Leia. "Well, what's in it for me?" Asked Wyatt with a slight smirk on his face, Leia chuckled and replied, "Your life, a clean record, a LIFE actually, pay, there are many things but as you can see, I don't have enough space on my hands so..." Said Leia, jokingly. That caused Wyatt to laugh.
He looked at the form for a minute before looking up and saying, "Ok" Leia looked up from her nails which she was fixed on, and asked, "Ok what?" Wyatt smiled at her and said, "Ok as in I'll work for you" Leia was surprised, she didn't believe him and asked, "Wait REALLY!?" "Mhm," said Wyatt, "JUST LIKE THAT?!" She asked just to be sure, "Yes! Do you have trust issues?" Asked Wyatt, because of how many times she asked the same literal question. Leia caught herself, "No-well, yes but I guess I didn't expect that" Wyatt raised an eyebrow, "What do people reject often?" He asked, "No, but people don't usually accept two minutes after the offer" She said, Wyatt smiled, "I've honestly got NOTHING better to do with my life conscience..." Leia nodded in agreeably, "Why does your boss think I'm fit to be a GOVERNMENTAL agent though?" Asked Wyatt, Leia was about to answer when Xavier came walking in, "Most criminal agents that rebel against their agencies do it because they have a guilty conscience," He said resting his hands in the pockets of his blue suit, "Morning sir" Said Leia, "Morning Leia" said Xavier. Wyatt was puzzled, "So you're the boss?" He asked, leaning up off of his headboard, Xavier nodded his head yes, "You can call me Xavier" he said with a very straight face. Leia stood up saying, "Well, I should get going I'll let you two discuss the details of things"

Leia headed to Lindsey's office, she was going to pay her a quick visit. She knocked on the door gently, then peered her head slowly through the cracked open door. Lindsey's golden-blonde hair was placed neatly in a bun and her lips were redder than apples. "Come in" Said Lindsey, not looking up from the computer. "Hey Lin," said Leia as she crept into the office, Lindsey looked up from the computer, recognizing Leia's voice, "OH! Leia I'm sorry I didn't notice you there, come in come in!" Leia happily sat down in the chair next to Lindsey's desk. Leia and Lindsey had quite a strong bond despite the age gap, Leia was an eighteen-year-old and Lindsey was in her early forty's. "you seem pretty busy today, what's up?" Leia asked, Lindsey smiled, "what's up is that your boss packed me with work today," "what work?" Leia asked, Lindsey sighed, "he wants me to do more dig more into this I.N.F.O's databases', he believes they could be a threat," "but aren't they just a STARTING agency?" Leia asked again, Lindsey shook her head, "no, apparently they've upped their agents worth and arsenal by ten since last year," Leia was surprised, "oh wow!" She exclaimed. "But anyway, how's things been going with Connor?" Lindsey asked, "you mean Wyatt? He's fine, Xavier offered him to work here today, he's actually in the room talking with him now" replied Leia, "woah woah woah! First of First of all, his name is Wyatt? Second of all, HIM? Work HERE?" Exclaimed Lindsey. Leia laughed, "yeah, his REAL name is Wyatt, and Xavier read through his file and I guess he saw skills," replied Leia, "wow, I'm genuinely surprised," said Lindsey, "what surprise you?" asked Leia, "Xavier's always been open to new agents," Leia added on, "no I mean, he is but an agent from the R.O.I? What if he's here to double-cross us! And you, you're not usually THESE easy about new trainees," UGH! Xavier said the SAME thing!" Grumbled Leia, "it's because this isn't LIKE YOU!" Exclaimed Lindsey, with a chuckle.
After Leia's chat with Lindsey, she headed over to her office where she found Bella and Brianna, patiently waiting, each had a smirk on their faces as they called out, "Oh LEIA! Come HERE DARLING!"

"UH-OH!" Said Leia jokingly, she knew this meant trouble.
