RequestedBasically a scenario where you, the reader, are always flipping a coin to make your decisions due to trauma. The reader is afraid they'll upset someone so they do coin flips to decide things for themselves, and this is how the knights react to that. The characters requested were Chaco, Arupek and Tuxam. It's a mix of a scenario and short story I guess, I wanted to try something different so this is experimental and might not happen for all requests. Hope you like it!
🐕 Chaco 🐕He didn't understand it at first. He always wondered why you need to flip a coin to make your decisions for you, and he wanted answers for it. He would observe you for a while longer, trying to figure out why you were doing this. One day, he took you out for ice cream, as usual, because it was a normal thing for the two of you, and he wanted you to try out some banana ice cream, but you wanted chocolate (or whatever flavor you like). You got out your coin and he tried to stop you, insisting he would just get both flavors anyway, but you insisted, which was kind of the last straw for him
"You know, you don't need to flip that coin for everything..." he placed a hand on yours, gently putting your hand down and closing your fist before you could flip the coin. This made you frown and look away from him. You wanted to explain to him, but didn't know how
"I know, I just..." you were struggling with your words, and couldn't form full sentences. You felt like you needed to flip this coin so you could decide if you wanted banana or chocolate. Chaco noticed how anxious and uneasy you looked, and placed his other hand on your shoulder"Why do you always carry around this coin anyway?" He asked. You knew this question would come eventually, and it made you even more anxious, but you took a deep breath and tried to calm yourself down as you started explaining
After finding out about your trauma, and what led you to do all of this, he gave you a sympathetic look. "I see... so that's what happened". He then brought a hand up to your head and gently patted you then he brought you closer to him, pulling you into a hug as he spoke.
"I don't completely understand it, but I want to help you, and I want you to learn how to make decisions for yourself, so promise me you'll believe in yourself more and won't be so scared of deciding things for yourself."
🔷 Arupek 🔷You were with him at a cafe, just enjoying your morning together and having breakfast. The problem was you couldn't decide if you wanted a muffin or a croissant, coffee or tea. The first two times it happened, he was confused, but didn't say much about it. The third time was when he was about to pay for everything, but you insisted you at least pay half of it, to which he protested saying it was his treat. This made you get out the coin again once more and that's when he said something
"Seriously, what's with all the coin flippin'?! Do ya really need a coin to decide everything ya do? I told ya i'm fine with paying, I won't take no for an answer!" He huffed, slightly annoyed and pouting, but then he saw your expression and his annoyance replaced with concern as he leaned in closer and whispered to you, "Hey, what's wrong..?
He took notice of your silence and frowned a little. He knew you never talked much, but you were never this silent. He got more worried and gently grabbed your hand in his, rubbing his thumb over the back of your hand as he pleaded with you. "Please, tell me..."
"I'm sorry, I can't help it..." you paused for a moment as you spoke, before continuing and started to explain everything to him. After you were done explaining, he was stunned and was silent for a moment, processing everything. He couldn't believe you went through all of that, and his heart ached for you, and it only made him want to protect you even more. He squeezed your hand gently and spoke up. "Why... why didn't you ever tell me? I could have helped you and supported you! Why did you keep this hidden from me?"
You didn't have an answer, and he once again became worried for you as he gripped your hand tighter. "From now on, you will let me know every time you make a decision. No if's or buts! I don't want ya hiding anythin' from me anymore! Ya don't have to go through this alone, i'm here to help, because I really care about ya"
🐧 Tuxam 🐧You tried not to do the coin flipping thing much around Tuxam. Especially because of his never-ending rules and him scolding people. So when he saw you doing a coin flip, he was curious but also confused, but didn't say much about it. It wasn't until him and Pikero got into an argument and he asked who was in the right. You got out your coin, getting ready to flip it, which made him a bit annoyed
"Really, a coin flip?" he raised an eyebrow and gave you an unamused look, but you couldn't help it, you just had to. It was clear you were guilty about it, and he knew too, because you didn't talk much for the rest of the day. It wasn't until he asked you something, and you were zoning out, to which he gently poked your forehead and spoke up. "I was speaking to you, Y/N"
"H-Huh? Oh... sorry" you sighed and looked down, feeling a little out of it. Tuxam looked at you with a sympathetic look and lifted your chin up. "Something's bothering you. What is it?"You didn't know how else to explain it, so you just gave a brief one and after listening, he took your hands in his and squeezed them as he spoke. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I'm also sorry for getting upset with you and not understanding earlier. That wasn't very gentleman-like of me"
After that, he stayed by your side the rest of the day (even the entire week) because he suddenly felt more protective of you. If anyone questioned your coin flipping he'd scold them, and made a new rule as well that nobody was allowed to say anything about it or complain
Okay so because of Arupek's accent, his personality was a bit difficult to write, but I hope it still turned out okay! I don't know if future chapters will have this short story format, I just did it because of the complex request and it felt better writing this way instead of writing the usual 1-2 things for each character. Either way, I quite enjoyed doing this!
