🔪 Headcanon: Dere Types 🔪

Had this idea for a while. I saw a headcanon of this elsewhere so here's my own opinion of the type of dere each character is

For better understanding and to save you the trouble of googling, here are the type of dere's and the meanings

Tsundere: Has feelings for the person but can't express them so they act distant and cold. They usually pretend they aren't interested in the person and struggle to convey how they really feel

Yandere: Acts very sweet and loving, as well as acting innocent, but also very possessive towards their love interest and can become mentally unstable, resorting to violence often

Kuudere: Appears expressionless and unapproachable, but around their love interest they become cute and loving. They can also be harshly blunt

Dandere: Similar to a Kuudere, they are silent and expressionless, but around their love interest they are more talkative. They're usually very quiet and keep to themselves

Deredere: Lovestruck and experience intense feelings for the person they love. Often times they only think about that person and nothing else and are overly affectionate

There were three others but i've never heard of them before so it's just gonna be these five. Anyways, enjoy!

Deredere

Reason: He just seems like a total sweetheart who would do anything to make their lover happy. He has no reason to hide how he feels about you. although sometimes he can be a bit much with how he expresses it

🩷 Merold 🩷

Kuudere

Reason: Merold is already a bit blunt, especially towards Hallritt, so it's no surprise he'd be like that with his lover too. His opinions can be harsh, but he means well, he just wants to protect you

🟡 Puruth 🟡

Deredere

Reason: Didn't really know where else to put him but he seems most likely to be a deredere. He really cares for his friends, so he'd show that same amount of care for you as well. He'd always think about you and take you out for adventures and stuff, and when you're away from him, always wonders how you're doing. He's always thinking about you, no matter who he's with

🌹 Romarriche 🌹

Deredere

Reason: I know red bouquet is getting a lot of them but just hear me out, he'd be SO loving towards you. He'd always check on you making sure you're okay, he'd bake you sweets every time he sees you, he'll also compliment you all the time and remind you how much you mean to him. He's probably the most perfect and caring partner you could ever ask for

🦐 Rimicha 🦐

Tsundere

Reason: Originally was gonna put him as a yandere but he's too sweet for that. I think he'd secretly be insecure and constantly question why you chose him, so he'd act moody and distant, thinking you're better off just finding someone else. However, deep inside he knows he loves you and refuses to let you go, so he'll act a bit clingy whenever you two are alone

🏖️ Sanah 🏖️

Deredere

Reason: He's just naturally a bubbly and positive person. He's gonna show you he loves you and shower you with lots of gifts (mostly stickers) and affection. He'll make you happy, he'll make you laugh, and will always be there for you
