HIS TEMPTATION

BITTERSWEET CONFUSIONS

After waking up, the day went like a silent movie. In the evening, i sat with Kevin cuz i know he's feeling lonely after Arson came into my life. And i keep lying to him for stuffs and he keep believing me for nothing.

But then suddenly.......

*Yells*

"Baby, i think you should try it."

He said while holding a whatever that was in the plate. It was something semi-liquid.

"No Kevin, i cant.. just look at it. It looks gloomy."

"Cmon baby, just try it. I bet it's gonna blow your mind."

I'm sure it can. Said my inner soul.

I started going upstairs making excuses like 'gotta pee'... 'My phone's ringing'..
But he's not gonna give up... He followed me. I ran upto my room. And. He. Followed. Me.!!

"Kevin, I'm telling you, stop it."

"Not yet. You gonna finish my masterpiece."

I climbed onto my bed still running away from him. He grabbed my ankle pulling me close. I stumbled falling down on the bed and laughing at our meaningless banter. He laughed along and climbed on top of me trapping my wrists in his grip on my sides. I started to giggle underneath him as he tickled my side with his free hand.

"Kevin, let go of me for god's sake. Are you planning to kill me in absence of Henry?!"

"No baby, I'm just trying to feed you my masterpiece especially for you"

We giggled and laughed till my eyes filled with tears. Kevin's smirk just disappeared in a snap when he saw my wet eyes.

"Baby...?"

*Silence*

It was pitch silence until kevin squeezed my wrists in his hands lightly and a thick line of tear trailed down my cheek....

"Kevin, Is it right for me to be this happy after losing my parents?"

He went silent, getting off from top of me.
He caresses my hairs and said in a assuring voice,...

"Baby, what happened to them was none of your fault. Nor Henry's. Nor anyone else's.  It was just an accident."

"Still, I was there. Watching and doing nothing."

I sat up, collecting my self, dont want him to feel guilty because of me.

"Leave it. What's gone is gone." I said as I smiled at him. An assuring one.

He smiled back at me before leaving my bed walking to the door, he went out locking the door behind with a soft thud.

I got up the bed, walking to the balcony. And first thing I noticed the window of the house across me shut with a loud thud.

I'm doomed.

He saw me.

And Kevin.

Laughing!

ON TOP OF ME!!!!

As soon as I felt like I've fucked up, I got a call from my best friend, Lily. She's a crazy girl. But she's my only best friend. 

I walked into my room as I picked the call up, only to be greeted by her screaming from the other end making me wince.

"Hold on, little girl. What's so exciting?"
