Wonderlands x Showtime has just finished their training at the Morinomiya Opera Troupe, and are heading back home. They were recently asked to do a show again at Phoenix Wonderland.

In this show, a young girl was the last hope for a world of self-worth. She has to jump into a world at the other side of the mirror in order to find the secret to self-worth as it faded away over time. Nene was the one playing the part of this girl.

"Child, the world at the other side of the mirror can distort the way you see yourself. This is a dangerous and treacherous journey. Are you willing to jump in?"

"I am...if it's to save my friends and their self-worth!"

"Alright, I will jump in the mirror now...Please cheer for me, everyone!"

"You can do it!"

The gimmick used in this show was for Nene to jump through a shiny blanket that still showed her reflection. This blanket was attached to a mirror frame.

Nene made the jump...but something strange happened. She didn't go through the frame and hit the blanket. She jumped at the blanket but suddenly disappeared. The blanket actually didn't even move one bit! While all the kids watching were very impressed, Nene's fellow troupe members backstage were shocked and concerned as to what could've possibly happened.

Meanwhile, somewhere else out there, Kinich was doing his commissions as usual. He returned into his small house with his money, and sat down to rest. After a little while, he stood up and went to the mirror.

He felt like he was being called to that mirror.

Kinich looked at his scarred and scraped self in the mirror. In reality, he still wasn't very proud of the position he is in now. "If only things went differently," he thought. "I wonder if people even value me at all. If the Traveler didn't exist, if Mualani and Kachina didn't exist...who would..."

He touched the mirror, longing to come to terms with his reflection, until...his hand seemed to phase through it. Kinich got curious, so he tried to put his hand on the mirror again. He did not feel the mirror, but an empty space beyond it...

Kinich opened his eyes to only see an endless white space, filled with shards of what seemed to be colorful glass...

"Where am I...?"

"Wh-who are you?!"

He turned behind him. A green-haired girl was standing in fear. That girl was Nene, as you all thought. There's only one problem though - a language barrier.

(Text marked in bold is basically an attempt to speak English)

Kinich: What are you saying?

Nene: Huh? Ah...Who...are...you?

Kinch: Hm? Me? *points at himself*

Nene: Mhm. *nods*

Kinich: 'Malipo' Kinich, just call me Kinich. I hail from Natlan.

Nene: 'Malipo' Kinich?...Natlan...? So...

Kinich: And you? *points at Nene*

Nene: Nene. I'm Nene...Kusanagi. Nice to...meet...you.

The entire ordeal got even more confusing as they spoke in different languages. They both stared at each other warily, until a voice rang out and broke the silence:

"Welcome to SEKAI!"

Once again, they turn. A blue-haired girl with twintails stood before them.

Nene: Miku?! But...wait, this is a SEKAI...?

Miku: Maybe not like any other SEKAI, but it is one. I didn't expect for you and him to end up here...Oh, right, give me a second...

Miku suddenly began singing a song (in English). All of a sudden, Nene and Kinich felt a rushing sensation within them.

Nene: What a beautiful song...wait, wh-...I'm...speaking English?!

Kinich: English?...Is that what this language is called?

Miku: It's a very common language, so I used the power of song to give you both temporary communication enhancement, or technically, the ability to speak English. That's part of the magic of SEKAI.

Kinich: What is this place, and why are we here?

Miku: I can't really answer the second question...but this is the place between SEKAI, otherwise known to you as the Hall of Mirrors. These shards don't look like mirrors, but they all reflect a SEKAI in them. Plus your way of entry is through a mirror!

Nene: No wonder...we used an old mirror's frame for our show and when I jumped through, it led me here instead...

Kinich: I was looking in a mirror as well, and it transported me here.

Miku: Mirrors can open the gates to this place at random, so it really was by chance that the both of you ended up here. Don't worry, I'll help you return home. Come with me...

Nene: Thank you, Miku...The others are probably worried sick about me. I wonder what happened to the show.

Kinich: My commissions are waiting...Please make this quick. How may I repay you for your assistance?

Miku: No need, really. I'm fairly content meeting you two even if just for a while.

Two giant shards of glass floated before Nene and Kinich.

Miku: Step through these shards, and you'll be led to your heart's desire. So if you wanna get back home, keep wishing for you to go back home. Be careful.

Nene: Mhm. Thank you, Miku.

They parted ways as they went through these shards of glass. Little did they know that what their hearts were looking at was not at their own reflections, but at the other side of the mirror.
