Error awoke and gasped for air, grabbing with his hand at his hoodie. Fuck, fuck, fuck- Geno! He quickly glanced to the bed next to his, seeing his brother awake, his eyelight nothing but a mere dot.
"Fuck- Geno!" Error hissed quietly and scrambled out of his bed, to rush to his brother. The eyelight slowly wandered to him. "Error-" Geno choked out, grabbing for Error. "I'm sorry- I'm so sorry-" He pressed out, the pixelexic child quickly wrapping his arms around him.
"It's okay, it's okay, brother- It's gonna be okay-" Error spoke, carefully rubbing the other's skull. "It's alright, I don't blame you, please, breathe-"
Geno took a slow breath, before letting it go. "There."
"You're gonna be alright- you're- you're gonna be okay." Error hushed gently, rubbing the back of Geno's skull while his brother sobbed on him. "I'm really sorry- I didn't- I didn't mean to- I just- I wanted..." Geno sobbed softly before hearing a groan beside them.
Looking over, they saw Fresh starting to wake up, sitting up and rubbing his eyesockets before glancing at the other two. "Brahs...?" He sleepily called out and Error took a deep, shaky breath before he then carefully pulled away from the hug, but kept comforting Geno.
"Hey bud, did we wake you up?" Error softly asked and Fresh frowned a bit. "Sorta... By the way, why is Geno-brah cryin...?" Fresh asked, getting off his bed and walking over while Error glanced down at Geno, who tried to wipe his tears away.
"It's- It's just something. Don't- don't worry about..." Geno sniffled, now trying to pull away from Error as guilt began to eat him up inside and Error frowned lightly.
"It's not nothing Geno and you know it..." Error mumbled and Geno shook his skull. "I know! It's- It's just..." God, seeing Error's fear stricken face, and the way he had died was still giving him so much guilt he-
He doesn't deserve such a good brother like Error...
"Uhh... brah...?" Fresh called out and the two brothers looked over to see Fresh pointing at something. Looking over, they froze when they saw something yellow and glitching in the corner. "Wut's dat?"
It was- It was the SAVE star Error saw. "Wh- What the hell is that...?" But to his brothers, it was something glitching, and even Error could tell that's what they're seeing too.
"Uhh..." Geno stared at it and blinked softly. "That's... what?" Error was confused, approaching the glitching SAVE star. "You two, stay away from it." He spoke, he couldn't have them die. Not this early, not Geno, not after what had just happened in the timeline, he couldn't handle see them die from something out of the ordinary right now-
He reached out slowly, touching the SAVE star, just to retreat his hand with a yelp, flapping it in the air at the burning feeling that shot through his fingers. What? "Okay, we all stay away from this." He then decided and glanced down at his hand. It was glitching more than usually- he really hoped he didn't cause anything.
But it wasn't too important right now, Geno was still there- he was still not doing alright. "Geno..." Error softly said and approached his brother, climbing onto his bed, to pull him closer.
"Did Gen-brah, like, have a nightmare?" Fresh slowly asked. "Something like that..." Geno mumbled and shot a guilty look towards Error, who just held him closer. "Not ready?" Error asked quietly, his big brother shaking his head. "I dunno how to put it in words." He mumbled.
