The bar was barely lit by the light bulb hanging overhead. Every spot in the building was filled except for one. It was at the very end of the counter closest to the door and on the next stool was a scruffy looking man. His hair was a neon blood red spilling from its restrain, his eyes were closed but you could just tell his would be the color of amber. A beard was growing on his chin and his bright multicolored clothes were rugged and grungy.

This man had showed up here hours ago obviously waiting for someone but time had passed and drinks were guzzled down. So now here he was slipping off his chair laughing at his own imagination till something sobers him for a few seconds and then his boisterous laugh is heard everywhere again.

It seemed that he had nothing to worry about, that he was care free until the doors flew open in an icy wind and a lone figure was standing in the frame. The cloak that he wore never showed who exactly he was or whether or not he was a he or a she. He walked the three steps toward this man who had sobered in a blink of an eye. The figure slid onto the lone stool and carefully handed over a piece of paper folded into a mini square. The man took it and noticed that the figure was wearing gloves. But that only distracted him for a minute before he was back to staring at the piece of paper. As he read a wine glass was placed between them filled to the brim with red liquid.

The man's eyes went wide in disbelief and the figure stood up taking his cue from something. There was not a word passed between the two, as the figure took a step towards the door. That's when a crystallized ringing went through out the building.

One, the man's eyes bugged out of his skull afraid of what would happen next.

'You had your chance to prove yourself, to show you can be trusted.'

Two, you could see his face turning a shade of blue as if bruises were forming rapidly all over his face.

'You weren't supposed to tell anyone I warned you.'

Three, he grabbed his throat still making no sound. It almost seemed he was in utter shock.

'You won't be able to tell anyone now.'

The figure took a step into the doorway and a crack sounded as you could hear gurgling in the background of the hushed bar. The figure stepped out and a glass shattered, splattering red liquid everywhere as something heavy hit the floor.

"Don't worry you'll be remembered, by your Angel." A female voice snarled with pure hatred. A sliver of the lone figure's face was shown and all you could see was and evil smile on it's lips. Then wings exploded from it's back and the cloak flew to the ground, and you could only see gold and blue fluttering in the wind.
