Me and Edward walk hand and hand together through the forest on the way to Bella's house. "So what's wrong?, not dying are you?." I try and joke and he smiles before it drops. "No but are you?." He stops and looks at me. "Edward whatever Alice told you or thought don't worry about it plus I'm already dead." I shrug and go to walk off when he stops me. "Mortica you haven't been yourself and you just disappearing from Alice visions isn't because of the wolves your hiding something so what is it?."
"Edward I'm fine I promise. Don't you trust me my love." I whisper and lean in and kiss him but he pulls away. "Mortica." He starts but I stop him. "I'm gonna go hunt love you." I kiss him and run off.
I know if he wanted to he could easily catch me but we promised Bella to come over tonight. We know her nightmares from us leaving is still happening.
I feel guilty for just backing out of my promise but I know Edward would just keep pushing till I told him something and honestly I don't know what to tell him.
I decided to go and hunt which after I do I learn is a bad decision as I throw it up seconds later.
Well shit, that's terrifying. I hear a growl and look up to see embry. I smile at him and walk towards his wolf form.
"I'm okay, I guess that deer didn't agree with me." I shrug. He shakes his head at me and go behind a tree and come back out in his human form.
"Mortica are you sure you're okay?" He holds me close and I feel calm being in his arms. "I'm fine." I answer and cuddle into him. He pulls me back to arms length. "I've noticed some changes with you." He started and I move away from him. "Can we not talk about this, I don't know why everyone is trying to talk about this."
"Let's just talk about this for a minute please." He says but I hold my hand up. "I'm good embry I will see you later." I speed off.
I sit down on the steps of the house and just look out at the night sky. I hear the door open and but the scent I can tell it's Ava.
She sits down next to me with an unnecessary breath. "Can we talk?." She asked and I groan loudly.
"Why all this talking?!" I say looking at her. She laughs. "Don't worry it's not about you." She smiles. "Oh...well then sure." I sit up.
She fiddles with her fingers and the rings on them before she looks at me. "I wanna ask Liz to marry me." I go wide eyed and then hug her to me tightly. "Oh that's great Ava I'm so happy for you."
"Thanks but there's a little problem." I tilt my head. "What's the problem?, your both mates and your both vampires not like the situation between me and my mates." I shrug. "Yea I'm definitely glad I don't have to deal with all...that." She waved her hand at me and I roll my eyes pushing her away from me.
"Yea yea, anyways what's the problem?."
"Liz doesn't believe in marriage or she doesn't care about them, says it's a waste of time and energy but the thing is, I care I always dreamed of marrying the one I love." I wrap my arm around Ava.
"I don't know I haven't had to deal with that I mean Bella didn't want to get married at first, said it was a piece of paper but obviously to a old man like Edward it's more than that, some people are just different when it comes to marriage."
"And what about?."
"What about me?."
"Don't you wanna marry embry add another ring to the two your about to have." Ava smirks at me. I chuckle and shake my head.
"I-I don't know I mean I never thought of marrying embry I mean I didn't even wanna marry Bella." I stand up and walk down the stairs. "So why marry her?." Ava comes and stands next to me.

"I will tell you the answer one day just not today." She looks at me for a moment before nodding. "Just talk to Liz I'm sure you two can figure it out."
"Thanks for talking with me." Ava hugs me and I tilt my head but slowly hug her back. "Of course what are big sisters for?." We pull away from each other.
"Im gonna go find Liz." She then speeds off. "That was a nice little chat." I turn and see Esme. "Yup I'm good at those now and days." She comes up to me and hugs me to her side.
"I'm proud of you for getting out of your moods and being more out there." I smile "I'm still moody mom, I just got better at hiding it." We share a laugh.
Igth I know I've been gone forever but I guess I'm back I'm not working much now so I have some free time. Thanks for supporting me on this story and all my other ones. Sadly though if you're waiting for me to update the Klaus story I won't be I don't have inspiration to continue writing it and honestly I was just trying something new, so it will say discontinued soon but i will be finished this story because I love Mortica and her love square😂😂
