*still the day of Brett's funeral* Hayley's pov:
Poor Kenny. I'm so sad right now, his speech about Brett was amazing. He seemed to know Brett really well. I wonder if he still loves me, I think it would be the right thing for us to spend some time apart. Kenny is really kicked in the gut about this.
"Kenny?"
"Yeah."
"I think, with all the stuff that's been happening.."
"Yeah, I still love you, Hayley. I will never stop loving you."
Oh god. This will be hard.
"Kenny, I think it would be better for you, for us, to maybe, take a break for a while."
"What do you mean? Your breaking up with me?"
"Not necisarnaly, I just think we need to spend some time apart so you can deal with the whole thing about Brett."
"I can't believe this. Your leaving me in a time like this. I LOST MY FUCKING BEST FRIEND AND YOU WANT TO BREAK UP WITH ME. DO IT FINE I DONT CARE!"
I regretted it as soon as I said it. Kenny sounded so upset. Omg what have I done?.
