The rain was still falling.
Lu Xiaoyu stood blankly at the entrance of Building No. 3, not knowing where she should go back to for a moment.
She followed her intuition and made her way back to the Lu family's house all the way. However, looking at this building that held no memories for her at all, she began to doubt her intuition again.
She hadn't taken the key to the Lu family's house when she went out. Or rather, she hadn't taken anything except an umbrella when she went out. Her mobile phone was still in her room at the moment.
If she didn't go home, her younger sister would be worried.
She walked in a certain direction all the way, left the urban village through an entrance where few people went in, and walked on the road.
Lu Xiaoyu had now confirmed one thing. She had forgotten not only her own home, but also the buildings near her home.
No matter where she was, she just felt extremely strange.
She walked aimlessly like a headless fly.
Because of the rain, the people around didn't notice this expressionless little witch. They were just thinking about getting home quickly.
The rain splashed noisily on the umbrella. The rain splashed up by pedestrians and vehicles wet Lu Xiaoyu's fair calves. The only good thing was that the umbrella given to her by Lu Xiaotong was big enough, so that the pouring rain didn't wet Lu Xiaoyu's rather thin clothes.
Lu Xiaoyu didn't know how long she had walked. Without her mobile phone, she had no way to confirm the current time at all. She looked up at the gloomy sky, watched the occasional flash of lightning and the deafening thunder, shrank her head in fear, and took a few steps back.
Before she knew it, she had already walked to the entrance of a primary school. There were two or three children who hadn't been picked up by their parents yet standing scattered in the guard room. They were holding the straps of their schoolbags and chatting with their classmates beside them.
There was no fear in their eyes. Instead, they were chatting and laughing about the interesting things that had happened at school, saying who and who must be in love, even though they themselves didn't even know what being in love really meant.
Lu Xiaoyu stared at them blankly until their parents came to the entrance of the primary school and picked them up not long after.
They knew that their parents would come to pick them up. Even if their parents didn't come, they could go home by themselves when the rain got lighter.
Lu Xiaoyu subconsciously followed the mother of one of the children. After following for quite a while, the mother of that child finally noticed the little witch behind her. She bent down and smiled at her, "Little sister, why have you been following us? Where's your mother?"
