A Love To Kill For

Moving In

The family estate was grand, almost
intimidating. The walls were
adorned with paintings of ancestors
who seemed to judge you with their
piercing gazes. Taehyung walked
you through the halls, his hand
resting lightly on your back.

"This is your home now," he said, his
voice echoing in the quiet.
You glanced at him, unsure.

"Taehyung, I don't want to impose. I
can find my own place—”

"Nonsense," he cut you off with a
smile that didn't quite reach his
eyes.

"You're family. And family
stays together, especially in times
like this.

"As the days passed, you began to
notice Taehyung's constant
presence.
He was always around-
whether you were in the garden,
reading in the library, or even in your
room unpacking.

One evening, as you sat by the
fireplace with a cup of tea, Taehyung
joined you.

"Is it too quiet for you?" he asked,
settling into the chair across from
you.
"A little," you admitted.
"It's strange
being here without... him.

"He leaned forward, his gaze
softening. "I know it's hard, but I'll
do everything I can to make this
place feel like home for you."

You looked at him, noticing the
flicker of something in his eyes-
was it devotion? Possession? Before
you could dwell on it, he smiled.

"I brought something for you,” he
said, pulling a small velvet box from
his pocket. Inside was a delicate
bracelet, the kind your husband used
to gift you.
Your breath hitched. "Taehyung, this
is..."

“It belonged to him,” Taehyung interrupted. “He wanted you to have it.”

You felt a pang of guilt as you accepted the bracelet. “Thank you. It’s beautiful.”

As you slipped it onto your wrist, Taehyung’s fingers brushed against your skin, lingering for just a moment too long.

“You deserve to be cherished,” he said, his voice low. “Don’t ever forget that.”

Something about the way he said it sent a chill down your spine. ..
