Today, the teenagers were having a Friendsgiving since the majority of them attended different schools.

They were of mainly excited because it was being thrown at Chase's house; because he was the only one with a home to himself due to him being the only one with that good of a music career.

Though, Dahlia was happy to sleepover his house for a particular reason. Her and Chase had been texting outside of the group chat more lately and had been forming a different type of relationship, and more than just a platonic relationship.

"You think anybody bringing weed?" Dahlia squinted at her bestfriend, Avery, Avery scrunching up her eyebrows. "Girl are they? We finna have more weed than food tonight!" Avery said.

They were currently packing up some leftovers from family's thanksgiving yesterday since they had too much food leftover.

"Ouuu I can't wait, I know Chase finna look good too I know his momma do his hair for the holidays." Dahlia wiggled her eyebrows at Avery. "You're so stupid, does anybody know y'all fuckin wit each other?" Avery laughed.

"Mmm, as far as I know, no.. unless he told anyone." Dahlia said. "He might've told Namil big mouth ass so iono who all know now." Avery said.

Dahlia groaned "Well if they know we talking bitches should know to stay the fuck away from him." Dahlia said—Avery stiffled a laugh.

Everyone in their friend group knew another girl in their friend group wanted Chase badly but Chase didn't like her in the slightest.

Whenever she'd try to make amorous advances at him, it would just be awkward because Chase clearly showed no interest in her whatsoever.

So when Chase started making advances at Dahlia, she didn't feel bad in the slightest for going for him too because she hardly knew the girl and he didn't want her either.

But strangely enough, he invited her to the party, which Dahlia of course did not approve of. "Girl if you get to fightin in this nigga house I know sum..."

Chase repeatedly checked his phone for the time, sighing when seeing it was getting later and later. Almost all his friends were here and Dahlia and Avery still hadn't arrived yet.

"I know she is not trippin like this." He said to himself, referring to her being upset that a girl who liked him was attending his party. He went to their messages to see if she had even opened the message he sent to her earlier today.

7:30 pm

Wya??

You frl not comin?

While rereading his messages, his heart sank when seeing 'delivered' turn into 'read at 8:15'.

8:15 pm

We here dickhead

He smirked at the sassy reply, eagerly heading to his front door to let the girls in. He looked out the window first, his smile growing when seeing Dahlia walking up to his porch with her hands full.

He opened the door, still grinning but Dahlia was fake pouting. "What you already mad for?" He said as Dahlia walked inside. "Cause you got this bitch over here, move boy." She said, walking past him to put the food down.

He kissed his teeth, helping Avery with her things since Dahlia was already in her mood. After they sat the items down in the kitchen, Avery left to go greet their other friends that were there.
