How To Befriend A Stranger

I'm back with a new story about my day, diary, also because you're the only one who listens to my endless ranter about my day, and all I have to do is write it on your pages. Anyway, as I said before, I'd be attending Crestwood University, and oh boy, was that a hard day. Mom couldn't let me go and Mark had to hold her back from ripping up my printed acceptance paper, so yes fun day.

"Mom, it's only 4 years, I'll be back before you know it, and besides, I'm there at the holidays and you got mark." Sophia assured her stressing mother with her ever so calming voice. Her mother sighed deeply and looked towards the cab driver and back to Sophia.

"Please call me when you fixed everything and when you're in your dorm."
"I will mom."
Her mom smiled warmly before wrapping her arms around Sophia's torso, and Sophia replied with her arms wrapped around her mother's shoulders, when the cab driver honked, they let go. Sophia turned her gaze towards her step-dad, Mark. "Please watch her for me, Mark."
"I will, and you be careful." Mark assured warmly with his ever so calm demeanor and a nod. Sophia hopped in the taxi and it drove off, towards her upcoming house for 4 years.

When I arrived at the uni I got soo anxious, I had to go to several places before I could even start the next week. I had to go find the dorms, get the key and worst of all: meet my roommate, which sucked. She got bored of me in an instant and said she won't be in our room very often, thank goodness. I hope it won't become a living hell. Then I had to go on a fucking tour around campus, I was the only one alone walking there, oh and a guy who looked really smart and also kinda boring like me! I'm not the only one but no I won't ask him to be friends.

I walked around campus in the not so crowded group of students, everyone was about the age of 20 and probably also a few under. In the tour group was a young woman with her blonde hair in a ponytail and a Crestwood University cap, the leader of the tour who walked us around. She was really friendly and joyful about the tour making it all so ever happily.

I spotted a few students grouping up, like girls with girls and jocks with jocks, and probably also players. But not 1 young man, he was around 20, 21 maybe so about my age. He looked really smart due to his glasses, cause everyone with glasses are smart Sophia.. he had blond hair with a bit of styling gel in it, a brown sweater with a white buttoned shirt slightly coming from under it and the crook around his neck. Further he wore grey jeans and white sneakers, it's dared but who am I talk about fashion?

Meanwhile I spotted a few buildings like a fast food place, a supermarket and a coffee place which looked really cozy and.. is that a typical diner place from the old 80s, 90s, America? It can't get better can it?

In the middle of the tour I spotted alot of great opportunities to make projects and homework, As example an coffee house with free wifi, and cheap coffee, so yeah it's awesome. There's a ton of food shops because we gotta cook our own food inside the dorm room. It's basically a living room with kitchen, bathroom and 1 bedroom with 2 separate beds. And obviously an fridge and cooler. So it's honestly a pretty nice campus, and then I haven't even started about the university! It's so huge with 249 classrooms, 8 toilet houses, 3 cafeterias and alot of history!

I think I can get used to this.
