coming up: filler chapter introducing my original character, and going into depths about the people and universe!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

second persons point of view.

that fateful night was official: you and izuku were an official couple. UA had its final exams and just like that, it was the start of a brand new summer: with izuku by your side. you could do things with him now and learn more about who he is as a person. you were excited to make plans with him, train for your final year, and think more about the future.

the first date the two of you went on was nothing special, just a cute and casual picnic in the nearby park. it was close enough for the two of you to walk, so it was no problem. the two of you enjoyed good food, light conversations, and watching the sunset together. as the time continued to pass and as it ended, you would train to boost your strength and practice your movements. sometimes you would train alone, sometimes you would train with izuku, and sometimes even mirko would take you in to practice your close combat. you learned more star dresses, had more time to train with their weapons of choice, and boost your stamina to last longer in battle.

a couple days before summer ended, you and izuku took a week trip from your homes in mustafa to the quiet countryside of kamakura, which was a nice vacation from the bustling city that you both were used to. the two of you spent time in nearby onsens, local restaurants, shopping around for omiyage (or japanese souvenirs), and doing what you wanted to. the two of you returned back home the friday before school started so you both had the time to get used to the city. you shopped for new pencils, new notebooks, and whatever else you wanted for school this year. it was your final year, so you told yourself to go a little wild on what you wanted. you'd never enter another high school ever again after this anyways. you were hoping you'd land a sidekick, or even become a hero with an agency of your own.

your messenger bag had everything a girl wanted/needed: some cute keychains, kokuyo notebooks (mainly in pink and blue), the cutest pencils and pens, and everything else you bought for this year. you were happy with all your purchases on that sunday before school, smiling to yourself and ready for the year. later in the day, you got an email from the school that second and third year students would start on tuesday due to monday being a day for the first years to get accustomed to their schedules, since today was their placement exam. it was weird for a placement exam to be on a sunday, you swore nobody really worked on sunday.

monday came around as you laid around in bed, scrolling through social media, taking naps here and there (knowing well it would mess with your sleep schedule again), and going to your yearly check-up with your doctor, the somnologist (a doctor who specializes in dealing with sleep and sleep issues). you got a refill on prescription medicine, and was advised to take melanoma gummies when needed.

your monday just got weirder as principal nezu himself emailed you to meet him at school to discuss an issue. did you do something? were you in trouble? turns out when you arrived, it was the complete opposite.

"yes yes chinen-san, come in and take a seat." nezu says with a warm smile on his face. he offered you tea as you accepted his generosity kindly, pouring hot water into the teacup that already had a bag of tea in it.

"i'll just ask you straight forward here so we can have a smooth sail tomorrow morning: a little birdie told me people in class a bully or make fun of you because of your diagnosis. is this true?"

your eyes widen, how did the news of this get out to him? he would've told him this was happening? it was supposed to be a secret.

"y-yes sir."

"we cannot afford that to happen any longer. UA has a strict policy against bullying, quirkless discrimination, and more. these students will get a warning, but we want to move you to the other hero course, class 3-b instead. along with you, the person who stood up for you and told me will move to class 3-b as well."

"can i know who told you about this?"

"your classmate, midoriya did."

izuku, your very own boyfriend did something incredible. nezu explained that izuku had come to him the other week and told him of what happened, and even had video evidence and voice recordings to back up his statements. you were shocked to say the least, you didn't expect him to do something so kind for you. he did this last week without your knowledge too, no wonder the two of you didn't go do homework at a nearby cafe that day, the pieces were connecting.

"i'll thank him when i see him later. thank you for letting me know about this, principal nezu. the bullying was supposed to remain a secret. it wasn't supposed to get to you at all."

"how come?"

"because they are restless. they didn't stop, even when i threatened to take this issue to you."

"i see. may i have their names? your classmates thaat are bullying you."

"of course sir. hana arai, mayuri sada, and chiori sei."

"i see. i will take care of this. you and midoriya are in class 3-b effective tomorrow. switching with you is 3-b's monoke and kei. that is all. i hope you have a wonderful final year here at UA."

"thank you principal nezu."

you leave campus a little after noon and arrive home to a nice cooked meal thanks to your mother. the rest of the day is more naps, having dinner, double checking you had everything in your backpack for tomorrow, and finally shutting the lights off for the night. the running around campus, talking with nezu, and running your errands made you more tired than usual. that meant you would get a good nights rest.

your sleep was interrupted by your mother softly knocking on the door as she spoke to you.

"chinen darling. its time to get up, i made us breakfast for your big day." she says with a smile. you slowly wake up, make your bed, and head out to the kitchen to see a delicious meal in front of you: miso soup, a piping hot bowl of rice, fish, some pickled vegetables, and your favorite: eggs. based on how delicious your mothers cooking was, you knew today was going to be a nice fresh start. although you didn't know anybody in class 3-b yet, you were hoping you could be their friends, and they would be nicer than those in class a. after breakfast, you wash up, change into your uniform and grab your bag that was sitting on the chair.

"oh hoshizuki, you look so grown up now...i can't believe 2 years ago you were only starting at UA. i'm so proud of you." your mother says with a sweet smile on her face.

"thank you for believing in me, mother. i'm going to be a hero."

"you're already a hero to many children sweetie. now off you go. have a wonderful first day, let's strive for success."
