...I rubbed a hand down my neck, preparing myself to ask her the next question without her getting angry,
"Callie. How many people have you...?"
She raised an eyebrow, "How many people have I what?"
"Have you, you know?"
She crossed her arms slightly, realising what I was trying to say, "You mean how many people have I slept with? Had sex with? Fucked?"
I flinched slightly at the last word. Callie never swore, ever, so for that to come out of her mouth was huge. She was angry and I knew it,
"Callie-"
She raised a hand to cut me off, "No Corinne. If you want to know I'll tell you. I've slept with no one, I'm still a virgin."
I looked at her shocked. Not because I was expecting her to have slept with someone but because the way that girl Annalise spoke on the day we met made me assume that she had slept with her at least,
"But, I thought you had slept with Annalise?"
She shook her head, "That day when we ran into Annalise was coincidence. I haven't slept with her, we just fooled around a bit, that's all."
"I just thought that-" She cut me off,
"You thought what? That a well respected Queen was a slut who sleeps around?"
