Realization

POV-LANCE

I really thought about Alura and decided to not try to make her love me anymore. She often just gives me the could shoulder and walks away. If I mention my family and how much I miss them she just starts talking about Altaea and the sacrifice of her parents 10 000 years ago and I can't handle it anymore. 

"Paladins to the controll room in 5 doboshes(1dobosh=1.4minutes)" Is the first thing i have to hear when I wake up. I stood up, washed off my face mask, brushed my teeth and put on my clothes. 

POV-3rdPERSON

Lance got greeted by Shiro and Coran as he entered the room. "We'll soon arrive at the location Ulaz gave us"

"Identify yourself" said a rather dark and mysterious voice "We are the paladins of voltron we got send here by Ulaz" 

Shiro finally got them to trust the paladins after some talking. He went to the base with Keith.

POV-LANCE

"Ofcourse Shiro picks Keith why would he pick me" I thougt to myself as I stared at the two wormholes while eating one of the cookies Hunk made since they couldn't get out until the 2 days are over. 

*(Changing the OG story a little bit now)*

We got a signal from the red lion. She started attacking the Base of the Blades and soon after the Black lion started to fly on its own right to the base 

"It's incredible Shiros bond with his lion must be so strong that it flew of on its own to Shiro" said Coran as the Black lion returned carrying the red lion.

"Why isn't Keith flying his lion?" I quietly said to myself as I walked to the black lion worried about Keith. We may not be good friends but he always listens when I talk about my family.

The mouth of the black lion opeded and Shiro walks out of it. On his right is one of the Blades and in his arm is a unconscious Keith.

"What happened to Keith? "I asked with an obvious tone of worry in my voice.

"I'll explain later could you bring him to the pod I need to take Kolivan to the Princess" Shiro said as he handed me Keith and walked of.

I carried Keith bridal style surprised by his weight. He was extremly light, had a small waist and you could even feel his ribs a little. We arrived at the pod and right as I was about to change his clothes he regained conciousness. 

"Hey man" I said with a soft look on my face and relieved tone "l-lan- ce?"Keith said with a weak voice. I didn't realize that I was still holding him but I honestly didn't care. Keith opend his eyes and I was basicly hipnotyzed by them. I always thought he had dark blue or even black eyes but they were a beautiful dark purple shade and also had kinda doll- ish shape wich was extremely cute. 

I helped him sit down and asked him what had happend during the two days he was gone.

"wait so you are half Galra?" I said. Seeing his expression fade from numb to worried I reassured him that I won't treat him any less of a person and that he is still the Keith everyone knows. He had some scars from the fight so I helped him with the bandage and we walked to his room. 

It was already late and as I wanted to leave he grabbed my arm and asked me to stay wich was unusual of him but I didn't mind. It's nice seeing Keith expressing other emotions than just anger and numbness and I was glad to be the one seeing them. Keith fell asleep rather quickly wich is obviously a good thing due to his heavy eye bags an exaustion from the mission.

I was laying next to him confused about my thoughts. What was I feeling about Keith? Then it strikes me. I wanted to be by his side not as a rival or a teammate but as a lover. I fell in love with the introverted blackhaired mullet that comforts me with his words whenever i felt useless or homesick.

I will continue to change some more events that happend in voltron that i tought were not fitting and give Lance some more details to his character
