He's currently dating one of the world's most successful young supermodels.
But was without his girlfriend Mia Long as he went for a hike through Malibu on Sunday.
Surrounded by friends, the 26-year-old singer seemed in good spirits, sticking close to a mysterious blonde who didn't seem to be fully embracing the healthy nature of the hike by carrying what appeared to be bottles of cider.

That's not Mia! He's currently dating one of the world's most successful young supermodels. But Zayn Malik was without his girlfriend Mia Long as he went for a hike through Malibu on Sunday.
Laughing and joking, the pair seemed to be getting on famously as they broke away from the group for a chat.
Clad in a plain white T-shirt and black skinny jeans, the Pillow talk hitmaker was not dressed entirely appropriately for the hike and also sported odd shoes.
Wearing one black trainer and one lace up boot, the singer didn't seem deterred by his mismatched footwear and soldiered on regardless.

Meanwhile, his walking buddy opted for a black vest and colorful snake print leggings, whilst she slipped her feet into a pair of sensible trainers.
Followed by another pretty blonde and two male friends, the group seemed to be enjoying themselves on the journey, laughing and joking as they walked.
The friends were even joined by a furry companion on the day, taking turns to walk the dog.
Clutching bottles and passing through a gated area, it seems the pair were looking for a relaxing place to stop and soak up the sun.
