《Ashton's POV》
"Do you have a six?" I asked holding my cards to my chest so no one could see them.
"Nope!" She said shaking her head making her long ombre hair go all over the place.
I pouted my lip.
"Lier!!! Yes you do!!" Andrew said from on top of my bed. He grabbed one of Val's card and threw it to me.
I smiled. Me and Valentine were playing a game of go fish. Andrew ,Valentine's brother, said he would watch her because she likes to cheat.
Jake laughed, "You always think you can get away with it Valley-Alley."
She made a face at the nickname he gave her. "It's always worth a try." She said folding her arms across her chest.
I invited my friends for a sleep over tonight. It was 10:43. We were suppose to be in bed right now but couldn't sleep. So we decided to play a little game of go fish to pass the time by.
I have three friends. First there's Andrew. He's eight years old making him older than me by three years. He had dirty blonde hair that fell into his green eyes. Since he was the oldest of us, he was the most protective and bossy.
Then there's Jacob who was lazily hanging off the bed. He lives right next door. He had dark brown hair and crystal blue eyes. He was the second to oldest at the age of seven. Like Andrew he is protevtive. But he was the smartest one out of all of us. He's also very goofy and likes to play around and make Andrew mad.
Lastly but certainly not least, there was Valentine. She is the only girl I am friends with. Much like her brother she had a mixture of dirty blonde and brown hair with green eyes that pop. She was the youngest one. Only younger than me by a month. We are all very protective over her. She's also born on Valentines Day which is how she got her name.
"Ash! They're fighting again!" Val whispered-yelled.
"Huh?"
"You're parents." She said pointing her thumb over towards my door.
We all got quiet to listen. And sure enough they were yelling at each other like they do every other night. I sighed out and stood up to close my door. As I got closer and closer I can hear the argument more and more. I didn't bother to listen though. It was better if I was completely clueless about what they're arguing for, than to try to keep up and question more about it.
