"Oh my God, you kept him!" Lydia exclaimed, walking over to the turtle case that Dustin was standing in front of.

"What? No I didn't." He blocked the case with his body. Lydia tried pushing him over but he would not budge.

"Dustin. Move."

"No."

"If you didn't keep him you would have moved by now."

"It's none of your business what I have in here." Dustin argued.

"It is absolutely my business if it's Dart!"

He sighed and moved over, revealing a hungry looking Dart.

"I knew it! I saw you running through the halls, and you got there first!"

"I had too alright, I felt too bad." He sighed.

"You felt bad for a demonic monster?" She questioned.

"Well don't put it like that." Dustin said as he started breaking off pieces of 3 Musketeers for Dart.

"You're unbeliveable. You're so unbelievable you know that? You probably just put all of us in danger now!"

"Alright I know that! I couldn't let him go."

"Maybe make some friends and you wouldn't feel the need to keep a slug to talk to." Lydia rolled her eyes.

"Says you!" He fought back.

Dustin turned back to the case. "I need to go to school, but I'll be back soon, alright?" He told Dart before putting a blanket over the case.

Lydia shook her head and went back to her room to grab her backpack. Dustin was standing outside of her room when she came out and she slapped his shoulder.

"I can't believe you."

He groaned and followed after her.

"You have to tell the others."

"No way, not yet."

They parked their bikes and noticed that none of their friends were in sight. Dustin got an idea and started running to the back of the school.

"Hey, wait!" Lyds called before running after him.

They reached a dumpster and saw their friends standing in front of it.

"What the hell's going on?"

"What do you think? We're looking for Dart." Mike informed.

Lydia elbowed her brother, but he just shook his head slightly.

Trash bags came flying out of the trash can suddenly.

"Jesus!"

Lucas jumped out of it right after. "Well well well. Look who finally decided to show up. After I drew the short straw. Real convenient."

"You stink." Max complained.

"Hi, Max." Dustin grinned.

"Hi?"

Lydia turned back to Lucas. "Maybe we would have came earlier if you guys actually told us you were doing this. Do you expect us to read minds now?"

"You guys always get here at 8:00, it's 8:20!"

"Well maybe we would have came at 8:00 if we knew how much of a big deal it would be to you." Lydia rolled her eyes.
