After the "Coffee Date", I went back to my condo.

I remember tomorrow will be Dad and Mom's 22th Wedding anniversary.

Let's use my lil spanish vocabulary lol..

I texted dad, "Es el aniversario de bodas de mamá y tú, ¿verdad? ¿Dónde nos volveremos a encontrar y celebraremos?"

("It's you and mom's anniversary right? Where will we gonna celebrate and meet again dad?")

I expected to get a late response but he responded earlier?

"Mi Hija, sí, casi me olvido de eso..."

("My daughter, yes I almost forgot that...")

"Playa de Santa Eulalia?" He responded

"Uh sí sí.. Auntie Rein there?"

"Nel. By the way, I booked you a flight."

"See u, Papa."

I responded, I only know spanish little. I know that he speaks english but I want to have a spanish conversation with him.

I checked my email, gosh he booked a first class just for me!?

For the 6th time?? Wow papaaa..

"Thank you, Papa."

I added.

I packed my luggage for tommorow's flight.

It's expected that some of my relatives who are spanish will come and join the celebration.

Hope that I'll see my parents again, for the 2nd time in this year.

I'm still hoping for Auntie Rein, though..

I woke up early and went to the airport, gladly there's no class. Finally, that stalker won't chase me anymore for only two days.

Sheesh, first class airlines is really luxurious!!

As I arrived in my destination, I sighed, the smell of the beautiful Spain.

"Playa de Santa Eulalia...very beautiful indeed."

Dad's relatives are preparing, gosh

My brown hair really have the same color to my cousins.

While one of my aunt saw me, she hugged me and said,

"Hija!! You look magnificent! How old are you?'

"20, tita." I gave her a smile

"Ooh Xynna! A very beautiful brown haired mestisa! You're 20 already? You got a boyfriend now don't you?" She said with a smirk with her spanish accent.

She keeped fidgeting my hand

"Uh, no, tita.. I'm not interested" I said trying to speak with a spanish accent. I'm used to american and filipino accent..

"Really!?!? Hija!, when I was your age, I dated many boys!"

I just nodded awkwardly..

Mga tita talaga...

I decided to ask where is Auntie Rein but she just went silent and said no. Her aura changed when she heard her name.

Nagagalit ba siya sa tanong ko?

My dad arrived and patted my head.

"You're here." He said with an accent.

"Your mother is still coming, just wait for her."

"Okay, Papa."

After everyone where talking, I was alone sitting, scrollin in social media.

Suddenly, Kaizer messaged me.

Ano nanaman gusto nito!?

Kaizer: It's my report now, wish me luck :) Have fun there, my lady..

Nagulat ako dahil baka alam niya nandito ako sa Spain. Grabeng stalker to ah!

Pero I found my self replying, "Goodluck, stalker."

Why did I even replied to him if I'm irritated!?

Mom arrived so all of us went to the big table and then celebrated.

Daddy: "So how's law?"

Mommy: "Yeah, Xyn. It's been months or years hindi tayo nagkikita.. Kumusta?"

"Okay lang po Mommy at Daddy.. I kinda handle the pressure."

Mommy: "Still many boys admire you?"

"Still."

Daddy: "Hah, they don't even know who's your father. Just tell me if they ever make you uncomfortable hija ha!?"

"Sí daddy."

As everyone chit chats, parang hangin lang ako dito ah.

How's Kaizer's presentation kaya?

Bakit iniisip ko siya!? Yucks.

Suddenly he messaged me..

Hala??

Kaizer: "Done with my presentation, seems the boss lives my handsome report."

"I don't need your UPDATE."

Kaizer: "But you'll need it, my lady :)"

"Pass."

Kaizer: "Are you angry? ☹️☹️"
"Bad mood?"
"Sad?"
"Got period?"
"Irritated?"
"Oh how I miss you, my lady.."

I laughed at his response, "Feeling..🙄"

I found my self, smiling at his response. Hoy gagoh ba ka happy lang??

All of a sudden, everybody shouts "Happy 22nd Wedding Anniversary Mr. Xalvieré de Ruiz and Mrs. Elisia de Ruiz!"

I clapped while everyone clapped, wow mom looks different..

After the meal, everyone went swimming while I was waiting to get a time to speak with mom.

We never chatted since, after my birthday, no communication— it's like forgetting the days that in my first year of college, she stayed in the condo with me.

She was really busy, talking to like everyone.

I decided to give up and go for a relaxing swim.

I put on some lotion and then swimmed.The water is very cool.

but boring.

Suddenly, my older cousin in my father's side approached me.

"Hello, you are so magandah!"

"Gracias po.."

"You got boyfriends?"

"No..?"

"Talking stage? Suitor? Fling? Fwb?!"

"No!" I said

"Ahh none.."

"You speak English?"

"Then what am I speaking!?"

"uh english"

The silence got silenced asf. I forgot her name..

"What is your name again?"

"Melinda."
