Sofia's pov:
The ring, a symbol of his love, now adorned my finger. Ansh was driving the car and I'm sitting right next to him ,I couldn't contain the mix of emotions swirling within me. He was changing, transforming himself for me. Lost in thoughts of our new life together, the car came to a halt.
As a bodyguard opened the door, I stepped out, my breath catching in my throat. A sleek helicopter stood before me, its rotors humming. Ansh, looking effortlessly cool, waited beside it, his hands were tucked in his pocket. Our eyes met, a silent conversation passing between us. Then, with a gentle gesture, he opened the helicopter door.
I asked before entering.
"What's this? You planning to kidnap me again?"Ansh smirked.
"And this time you're coming with me willingly."I stood frozen for a moment, then, with a sharp breath, moved toward him.
He opened the door without looking at me.
"Get in."As I stepped into the helicopter, a wave of confusion washed over me.
"Who's going to fly this ?
Am I supposed to sit next to the pilot?
Then where will Ansh sit?
Between me and the pilot ?"
I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of the situation.A few moments later, I couldn't believe my eyes. Ansh was settling into the pilot's seat!
"No way, he's going to fly the helicopter?"
I thought to myself, a mix of surprise and amusement. He buckled himself in and then turned to help me fasten my seatbelt. As I looked at him, I couldn't help but ask.
"No way,"
I breathed out.
"You're flying this?"He glanced at me, a sharp look of amusement in his eyes.
"Why, don't you trust me?"I just nodded at him.
He handed me the headset, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Ready?"
he asked, a grin playing on his lips. I nodded, excitement bubbling within me.As we prepared for takeoff, Ansh leaned into the microphone and spoke,
"Moscow Center, this is Echo-Seven-Two. Requesting permission to fly a sightseeing route over the city center."I raised an eyebrow.
"Moscow city? Seriously?"He looked at me, his lips curling into a subtle smile.
"Why not? It's just a city."I couldn't suppress my excitement, despite the absurdity of the whole situation.
"Are we really doing this?""Buckle up, Amore,"
he said, his voice low, intense.
"And don't say I didn't warn you."The helicopter roared to life, lifting us into the sky. The city below was a sea of lights, and I couldn't help but stare in awe. I'd never seen Moscow from this angle.
As darkness enveloped the city, the helicopter ascended into the night sky. The city lights twinkled below, creating a breathtaking panorama. Lost in the beauty of the moment, I didn't notice Ansh's gaze on me. It was my first time flying in the air.
his voice firm and clear.
"Control Tower, this is Echo-Seven-Two. We're inbound for Moscow City, currently cruising at an altitude of 10,000 feet. Requesting clearance to descend to 5,000 feet for a closer view"Why does this man sound so professional?
As a child, I had often dreamed of soaring through the sky, and now, thanks to this man, that dream was becoming a reality.
Our exhilarating flight finally came to an end. As we descended towards the landing pad, I couldn't help but marvel at Ansh's piloting skills. He had handled the helicopter with the ease of a seasoned pro, even pulling off a few daring maneuvers that had sent shivers down my spine.
The helicopter descended, its rotor blades a blur against the darkening sky. It settled before the imposing penthouse, it was the same penthouse when he had locked me.
He saw the fear in my eyes, a flicker of terror in the darkness. A strong hand reached out, seizing mine, pulling me from the void. With a gentle tug, he guided me towards the penthouse, a beacon of hope in the encroaching darkness.
As the door slid shut, he turned to face me, his gaze steady.
"I know,"
he began, his voice low and reassuring,
"I am the reason you feel that fear. I cultivated it, nurtured it, until it consumed you. But trust me, soon, this fear will be no more."He led me inside, to a bedroom lit only by flickering candlelight. He stripped off his coat, his gaze never leaving me. His voice dropped an octave, low and dangerous.
"You're not going anywhere. Not tonight."
His words sent a shiver down my spine. I didn't have time to react before he added, "Join me in the bath?""Seriously?"
I said, half-mocking, half-surprised.
"A bath?"Ansh raised an eyebrow, amusement flashing in his eyes.
"You don't have to. But it's an invitation."I wasn't sure how to feel.
"Fine,"
I muttered, following him.The bathroom was extravagant, almost obscene in its luxury. A tub big enough to swim in. He stepped in, and I followed hesitantly. As soon as my skin touched the water, I froze. His hands were already on me, guiding me into his embrace.
"Relax,"
he said, his voice like velvet against my ear.
"This is nothing compared to what's coming."I didn't know whether to laugh or shiver. Ansh was unpredictable, and right now, I had no idea where this would lead. But I knew one thing: it wouldn't be gentle.
"You're not afraid of me anymore, are you?"
he asked, his voice low, full of challenge.I met his eyes, my voice a whisper.
"I should be."He smirked, his hand on my wrist, pulling me closer. "You will be."
