Sofia's pov:

My eyes snapped open, I woke up with a sharp pain pounding in my skull. I sat up on the bed, rubbing my eyes furiously, I was unable to recollect the memory of last night . Then, it hit me. Like a jolt of electricity, I stood up on the bed in shock, fear clawing at my throat. I ran my fingers through  hair regretting.
"Shit!"
I hissed,
"What the fuck did I do last night?"

I looked around the room and relief washed over as I realised I'm in Bella's Mansion . I don't know why she's been so kind to me. After... the miscarriage, I was shattered. Completely broken. Then she brought me here, to this mansion, and tried everything to cheer me up. She entertained me, kept me company. And last night, she even took me to a club where I went crazy after getting drunk.

Deja vu hit me hard. As I remembered, a time when I was drunk at a party, and Ansh... he took me to his mansion.

The door creaked open bringing me back to the world from my thoughts, and Bella stepped inside, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"So,"
she drawled, a playful lilt to her voice,
"was he in your dreams also?"

I blinked, completely thrown off guard.
"Who?" I stammered, confusion swirling in my mind.

Bella chuckled,
"The bartender, sweetheart."

Heat rushed to my cheeks, and I instinctively covered my face with my hands in embarrassment.

"Sorry,"
Bella said, her eyes twinkling with amusement, "because of me, you couldn't even exchange numbers with him. Don't worry, we'll go again sometime."

"STOP it, Bella!"
I exclaimed, throwing a pillow at her.

"But you were asking me to take him home."
She said, catching the pillow.

I said trying to act innocent.
"I... I don't remember saying anything like that!"
Why the fuck I was saying.I cursed my self in mind.

Bella laughed, throwing the pillow back at me.
"Well! Now hurry up we are having a meeting ."

Ansh's pov:

The few hours in flight are feeling like decades.
It's only been a few days, and I'm already going insane. I'm desperate to see her, pull her into a tight hug and then never let her go.

I know, I have fucked up really bad this time. But the deal she made with that bastard... it still boils my blood.

All I wanted was a single, honest answer which holds a reason for what she did. Even if it was a lie, I would have taken it. But it felt like she didn't even care anymore, like our relationship meant nothing to her. She chose to end it by her choice.

I know things weren't always easy between us, but lately, she was really opening up to me. I was a bit shaken when I learnt that she had feelings for me since college. If her feelings were genuine, why didn't she tell me when things were finally good between us?
I will take my answers.

But right now, nothing else matters. All I want is her.

"The Italians won't let us land peacefully. They are doubting our moves..."
Leo said, with a furrowed brow and a hint of frustration in his voice.

"Let them try. I'm not leaving until I see her. If they want a fight, they'll get one."
I retorted my voice tight with a mixture of determination and desperation.

"No doubt they will lose,"
Leo said, his voice laced with a hint of worry,
"But we have to calculate our moves because they can harm Sofia in between. We can't afford any risks."
He paused, his gaze fixed on me.

"Harm her? They wouldn't even dare touch a single strand of her hair. I'll skin them alive before that."

"I know! But we need to be strategic...and they are demanding for a meeting"
Leo said calculating all the moves.

"Tell them I'll be there. But I'm coming on my terms."

"What terms?"
Leo asked narrowing his eyes at me.

"They'll find out soon enough, I expect them to be prepared."

I'm coming Amore....
