CHAPTER 17

The next day everyone woke up quickly excited for the performance, Diya, Hyejin, Jay, Sunghoon and K went to the outfit room and saw the new items that were kept.

They gasps and cheered as they saw it making others to go there too and gap at the items.

"Crazy bro" Diya chuckled as she and Aarin walked out of there.

[TIME SKIP: 10 MINUTES BEFORE PERFORMANCE]

The dance representatives were practicing their dance in the dance practice room while the vocal representatives practiced in the balcony and in the dining table. Somi, Jia, Heeseung and Geonu were in the dining table practicing while the other trainees were watching them.

While practicing Heeseung's voice cracked because of nervousness.

Since their voice were echoing the dance representatives heard it as well. "Heeseung must be really nervous" Aarin said the other trainees nodded.

"Since we representative the I-landers he must have been pressured" K said. Heeseung just laughed it off and continued practicing. When the representatives finally finished their rehearsals they noticed that Heeseung kept practicing.

"I've never seen him this nervous. " Jay said as him, Diya and Hyejin sat on rhe couch.

"Everyone is nervous." Diya sighed.

Jay kept his hand on hers and squeezed it in comfort.

"I'm sure they'll do great" K said and smiled. "Of course we have to win" Jungwon said. Diya nodded and smiled. 

Then the countdown went off. The trainees hurriedly went down. "The Representative unit test will now start" The voice said as the gate opened.

The representatives waved goodbye. "Hwaiting!" "You can do it!" "Good luck!!!" 

The other trainees said waving their hands. Then the gate turned and the I-landers got off. The Grounders and Producers got shocked seeing Sunghoon.

"Jay is out. I'm a bit shocked" Rain said to the other producers. 

"Yeah, me too" Sungdeuk said.

 "I'm really curious as to why" Doobu said. 

"I don't know why either" Rain said. The mentors looked quite shocked and confused.

"The I-LANDERS's dance has a lot of powerful feel, and Sunghoon did ice skating. I wonder if he'll be able to pull off that power because I think depending on how prepared he is, the outcome of this battle will change" Sungdeuk said.

While in I-LAND the I-lander representative's faces were showed. "So handsome!" "Wah so pretty!" "They're overflowing with visuals" The trainees said smiling. 

Then the grounders entered as well. The other grounders were cheering on them.

They changed Sungchul to Daniel and Hanbin to Jaeho. "Nicholas looks like he's about to destroy everything" Zico said making the producers laugh. The grounders also saw Nicholas' eyes they laughed at his cuteness.

Diya looked at the sid eof the grounders to see Cassy and Ni-ki and wanted them to look at  her, but they didn't.

"The representative unit test that will determine each team's fate will begin now being" The voice said. "Starting first is I-LAND's vocal unit" The voice said. "Standby" The voice said as the vocal unit move in the middle of the stage.

The other trainees went to the side and sat down watching the performance.

The I-landers got into their position and the other I-landers quietly cheered on them. "Hwaiting!" Haeum said. "Let's get it!" Diya said. Then the performance started.
