I saw him today. He's not ok. He tells me he is. He's wearing long sleeves. He still insists on saying he's fine. Why won't he tell me? I'm his best friend! Doesn't he trust me?

I saw him today. I told him I was ok. I hope he believed me. I wore long sleeves today. Yes, I'm a 27 year old that is still hiding scars. Inside and out. I faked a smile. I insisted I was fine. I love Joey. That's why he can't know. He'll just hate me like everybody else... Think that I'm some kind of weak bastard. I can't lose him. I need him now more than ever.
