Perth entered his room with Gemini after seeing off Santa and Fourth. As the door closed behind them, Gemini tossed his bag onto his bed and flopped onto the mattress, stretching lazily. Perth, on the other hand, headed straight to his desk and set his phone down. He leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his hair. Picking up his phone again, he opened his gallery, scrolling absentmindedly through photos until he stumbled upon a picture of him and Santa. It was from a few weeks ago—a selfie of him and Santa inside his car.

Perth stared at the photo for a long moment, his thumb hovering over the screen

Perth stared at the photo for a long moment, his thumb hovering over the screen. "Is it wrong to be protective of him?" he thought, his brows furrowing. He sighed heavily, setting his phone down on the desk. The weight of his emotions felt overwhelming. He just wanted to keep Santa safe from anything—or anyone—that could hurt him. But why couldn’t Santa see it from his perspective?

Pushing his chair back abruptly, Perth stood up and walked to the closet. Grabbing his towel, he muttered, "I need a shower." Without another word, he headed into the bathroom, leaving Gemini glancing after him.

In Santa’s room, the younger boy still lay sprawled on his bed, staring at the ceiling. His thoughts were muddled, replaying the earlier conversation with Perth in his head. With a frustrated groan, he sat up and went to his closet, grabbing his towel. He didn’t want to think about it anymore—maybe a shower would clear his mind.

After a quick shower, Santa stepped out, drying his hair with the towel draped around his neck. He opened his closet again, pulling out a casual outfit. Just as he was slipping his shirt over his head, the door creaked open, and a familiar voice called out. "Santa?"

Santa turned to see William entering the room, a small stack of textbooks in his hand. William smiled and placed the books on his desk.

“William,” Santa said, "you're back, what took you so long?"

“oh, I bought some textbook at the university store and then hang out with Mick and Luke, that's why I'm late," William replied.

Santa nodded and finished dressing. He glanced at William. “I was about to head out to buy some drinks at the food stall. Do you want anything?”

William shook his head, returning Santa's smile. “No thanks, I’m good.”

“Alright,” Santa said, grabbing his wallet from his desk. “See you later.” With that, he left the room, leaving William all alone.

Meanwhile, Perth had finished his shower and was now seated at his desk in a fresh outfit. He opened his textbook, trying to focus on his studies, but his mind kept wandering back to Santa. His fingers tapped lightly on the desk as he sighed again.

Gemini, who was lounging on his bed, noticed Perth's tense posture. “Hey, are you okay, Perth?” he asked casually, propping himself up on his elbows.
