"Thanks, Mom!"  I texted her & she sent a heart emoji. I parked the car and grabbed my bags, surprisingly seeing Camille waiting at the school's stadium for me. "She's going to be so angry at me..." I muttered to myself. Camille started banging on my windshield. I winded them down. "Do you not know how expensive this car is?" I probed. "Do you think I care about that?" she looked at me in an incredibly deceptive way. I sighed as she continued with her statement. "You're late, we also already started on with the first part." I gave her a shocked face. "Why would you do such a thing..? You knew I was coming." "Nobody wanted to wait like half an hour for you, because that would be unfair to others." "You know what. I thought you changed, but I guess I was wrong. Have a great day." I dropped her cheerbook & left her astonished. "Oh no she didn't." I felt a tight grip above my back "Are you seriously gonna leave us behind?" "Yes, and I can't stand you one bit." She pushes me on the ground. "What did you do that for!!" I yelled at her. "You said you couldn't stand me.. so you can sit on that dirty floor instead." She then walks away.

Ever since we hadn't talked in weeks because of that.

"All good vibes," I said, writing in my diary as I tried to capture the positive energy of the day. The sun was shining brightly through my window, and I could hear the laughter of kids playing outside. Just then, my mom's voice broke through my thoughts. "Britney, come downstairs and help your dad!" she yelled from the kitchen, where the smell of freshly baked cookies wafted through the air. I sighed, reluctantly putting my pen down. I closed my diary and made my way downstairs, mentally preparing myself for whatever task awaited me. As I reached the bottom step, I could see my dad struggling to assemble a new bookshelf.

"Is it a two-person job?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at the chaos of tools and wooden pieces scattered across the living room floor. "With your help, it'll be a lot easier," he replied, flashing a smile that made the effort worthwhile. I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of him lost in the instructions. "Dad, after we finish cleaning.. do you think I can go over to my friend's house? I confidently asked him, expecting his response. "Uhm.. Who is this friend? Camille..?" "N-No! I hate that girl. I said with lies. "Oh what happened, I could've sworn you were deeply-" "Dad!" I interrupted, hoping that my mom didn't hear what he was about to say. "I swear what I said about her wasn't true at all!" I whispered.

"Alright, get to work, kid. We're going to be here for a while." When my dad says that, I know I won't make it to her house. Hours later, it was already 9:42 PM, and I was still cleaning. Once I finished putting the trays back in order, I gathered enough courage to ask my dad if I could go. "Dad, can you please finish the rest? I need to go to her house." "Do you? Or do you just want to get out of here?" "I'm being serious." "Okay, child, go on." "Really?" "No! Do you think I'm stupid?" "Dad!!!" I rolled my eyes at him walking to the bathroom. "Could this day get any better?"

I then thought of something, sneaky

.... I then thought of something, sneaky. "I'm gonna be in so much trouble.." I tip-toed upstairs grabbing my jacket and juicy couture purse. I then tip-toed downstairs walking to the doorway until.. "Britney I need some help over here." I had to think quickly...! "I'm using the bathroom, Dad!" I then closed the door. "Okay, you can help me when you get out!!" I tried to unlock the car but realized I had forgotten the keys. "Oh no! I'm so doomed!" I exclaimed while looking down at myself. After taking a few deep breaths, I decided to just walk. It got really cold, but that didn't stop me. "Okay... I believe her house is right... there!" I said to myself as I walked up the stairs and rang the doorbell. "Yeah.. Oh hey, you were early this time." "Don't even mention it." I gave her the stank face. "You can go sit on the couch. "These are all my friends! Meet Britney."

"H-hey, guys!"

"Hi..."

They all looked at me strangely, and I began to wonder if I looked unattractive or something. I felt a sense of tension directed towards me when someone got up to hug Camille. The girl who hugged her looked similar to me but just a little off. "Camille, can we talk privately?" "Why? Why can't everybody know" "I said privately for a reason." "Ok.. I'll be back guys." "What happened?" "Who's that and why does she look a little bit like me" "That's my girlfriend, Sandy. "Oh.. ok." "What? You're not happy for me..?" "Oh! Sorry.. congrats!!" I cheered for her and we went back to the living room. "Britney, can you wait out that door for me? Me and my "friends" have something to discuss." "Okay?"I began to feel excluded and started to wonder if Camille still liked me or not. "Camille!" I screamed from the other room but she didn't hear me. "You know what." I walked into the room and I wasn't ready for what I was about to see. "𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐋𝐘!" I gasped. "W-wait no it's not what it looks like!" "I-I already saw enough!" I cried running down the steps. She looked at me, regretting on what she did. I ran back home and started writing down in my diary. "I can't believe it was all a prank.. a scheme I should say! All this time she played with my feelings.. Oh I should've known.
