4 years later***

Years had past and me and Ashton had become best friends. Anne also had another son named Harry. He looks exactly like Ashton. It was just crazy.

Ashton and I had made three other friends. Luke, Calum, and Michael. The four of them decided to start a band. They're really good. They're audience is mostly me and their moms. And siblings.

This was our last year of junior high. Next year we were going to be in high school. Luckily I can survive it with my four best friends.

We have 2 more days left of school and then it's summer. All five of our families are going on a vacation together. Including this one girl named Bryana Holly.

She's like one of the most popular girls in the school. The only reason she's coming with us is because she has a crush on Ashton. She seriously makes me want to puke.

Anyways back to school, during lunch Bryana kept making goo-goo eyes at Ashton. This was so disgusting. And for some reason I felt jealous. Wait no. MADDY. Snap out of it. That would be really weird. Me and Ashton. Yeah right. Anyways. I was having a GREAT conversation with Luke about his toenails. Wonderful. When out of nowhere, a cloud of perfume came and burned my eyes. Then I got pushed over and almost fell. Luckily Calum had my back and I mean literally.

"So I was thinking that maybe after school we could go over to my place ya know to do some, homework." Said the cloud of perfume while twirling a piece of hair with her fake nails and just to make her look a little bit more trashy she was chewing on some gum. Just trashy. I would say something else but you know.

"By the way Bryana, we don't get homework on the last 2 days." Michael spoke up. Even though she was talking to Ashton. He also mumbled "smart one" and I snorted at the smart comment he made.

Bryana just sent me a death glare and walked away angrily with a 'whatever'. I waved a goodbye and blew her a fake kiss.

Anyways after lunch we headed to our last few classes. All 5 of us stay in the back just fooling around.

After a 2 hour period of a teacher blabbing it was time to leave. FINALLY.  I could never be more happier in my whole life.

We all walked together on the sidewalk and ended up going to Ashton's place for some pizza and movies. Ever since they moved here my mom lets me go anywhere. As long as Ashton's there. He's like my brother. Just we aren't related at all.

"Hey!" Exclaimed Ashton
"Hey!" I mimicked him only adding jazz hands.
"Ha ha." He said without any emotion "how about we play some music?"

The four boys agreed and started getting their equipment ready. I just sat there scrolling through my Twitter.

"This one goes out for my chick, Maddy!" Said Michael making a kissy face at me. I just rolled my eyes and I could here the boys laughing except for Ashton. He seemed kinda upset. I just rolled it off.

"Boo. This song stinks." I say

"You know you like it." Calum said "don't lie."

"Yeah your right. It's really good." I say honestly.

"Hey, Maddy. Can I talk to you on the porch." Ashton asked me. The boys just make kissy faces and kissing noises and start to giggle. I just ignore them and I nod my head and follow him to the back.

When we reached the porch he pulled a box out of his pocket. Jesus Christ no. I'm only 14. When he opened the box there was a charm bracelet.

There was a pizza for Michael.
A drum for Ashton.
A penguin for Luke.
And a bass guitar for Calum.

There was one charm that caught my eye. It was a heart with the letters 'a' and 'm' and underneath it had a bff. Adorable. Just adorable. 😒. Anyways I looked at Ashton and he had a smile on his face. He looked so cute and all I could do was hug him.

I so badly wanted to kiss him but that would be awkward. Especially since there's the whole Bryana thing.

"Do you like it?" He asked me. I just nodded my head and said "thank you so much." I really did appreciate it. It was so nice of him.

"Come on. Let's go back before they suspect anything." He held out his hand for me to take. Dang he has a huge hand. I took his hand and we walked back. But by the time we were close to the living room where the boys were at, I let go of his hand and started getting angry again.

"Hi Ashy!" The cloud of perfume spoke. How the hell did she get in here? She went running up to Ashton and kissed him. On. The. LIPS!!!! I was about to slap her. Shoot....... I think I have feelings for my best friend. This isn't good.

The kiss was still going on. How long does it fricken take. Geez.

I just stood there in shock and jealousy.

I ran upstairs to the bathroom and I hadn't noticed that I was crying till looking in the mirror. Crap. Why did Ashton have to be so cute? Why is she here anyways?

After about 10 minutes of crying I decided I would just climb out the window and go to my house. Since it's only about 4 feet away.
