"Captain..."
Upon hearing the whisper, Craider turned towards Bedrich.
"Do you really think they were telling the truth?"
Bedrich's face was filled with doubt, but also concern.
Craider looked away.
"It doesn't matter what I think. If it involves an Unorthodox God, prevention is necessary either way. Whether it's the truth or not, we can worry about that later."
Bedrich nodded, checking the bullets in his revolver.
"Then, why aren't we retreating, Captain?"
A younger woman of around 25 years old spoke.
Craider turned to her, suppressing a sigh.
"If they told the truth, a large scale fight is about to break out, that's not something they can hide. We'll simply monitor the situation-"
Before he could finish his sentence, an earthquake shook the building.
With a frown, Craider looked outside and towards the mansion.
He could vaguely see six figures standing before a grand mansion.
Just then, a wave of spirituality spread out from the group, hitting him in the face.
He quickly reached out into his bag, but... nothing strange happened to him.
He looked around, everyone else also seemed confused but alright.
Craider looked back outside, he could see that the mansion's door was wide open.
Inside was a large group with more people closing in around the six figures from the alleys, streets or from behind a fence.
Craider and Bedrich both stood up.
'What... that's too-!'
He was unable to even finish the thought.
He saw the area behind the six figures crack as a mystical portal opened.
A large group of people walked out.
The official Beyonders stared motionlessly at the spectacle, mouths agape.
"C-captain? What Beyonder power is that?"
Hearing a short man with curly hair ask from behind him, Craider gently shook his head.
He could somehow see one of the main six figures disappear.
"I have no idea."
...
"There's more than I thought..."
Ellone gently rubbed away the goosebumps on her arm.
Natia looked at her, remembering the documents she went through.
"That's probably because they invited friends from the Rose School of Thought. Did you read the notes on the Chained Pathway's Sequences?"
Ellone looked up, nodding.
"Yes, I studied hard-"
As she said that, her nails turned black and long with corrosive symbols.
She sliced up, cutting through a bullet.
Ellone bent down, scanning the surrounding.
It was kind of a standstill, but also not at all.
After all, they were fighting against crazy maniacs.
She pulled a Spell Scroll from her small bag.
