A Secret Surprise From A Secret Someone ~/a Kim Jonghyun One-Shot\~

It was a beautiful morning, you walked down the street to your school, as your school isn't that far from yours; just a couple blocks away. As you were walking by, you caught a glimpse of your all time school crush, Kim Jonghyun, the schools popular guy and group member from SHINee.

You were going to walk up to him and say 'good morning' to him, but your fear got the best of you, your courage didn't fight back. Once you walked pasted the boys, you felt a vibration on your hand, your phone was ringing; it was your best friend, (F/N).

"Hello?"

"(Y/N)! Did you hear!"

"Hear what? And also, keep your voice down, my ear drums are going to be dead by then if you don't stop yelling."

"Sorry, anyways, there's this dance this up coming week. I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping on the weekend, before the dance."

"I would love to, but one question, when exactly is the dance?"

"On a Thursday, which gives us enough time to find the perfect clothes for us both."

You thought about it for a while and said yes, I mean sure you are bored out of your mind when you got nothing better to do at home, when you think about it, Jonghyun might be there. You might never know.

//-TIME PASSES TO THE DAY OF THE DANCE-//

So here you are, your hair ready and make-up already done, I mean you were badazzling pretty. You were walking to your next class when you saw Jonghyun with another girl, to be honest you were easily jealous, it wasn't your fault though, because he was planning on asking you to the dance. When they were going walk past you, Jonghyun links his fingers with the girls hand. You saw that he was holding the girls hand and you started running to an empty class room where nobody could find you, once you got to the empty room you cried like your heart was being given to the wrong person, I will say this, Jonghyun was your first crush and never told anyone; not even your friend or parents.

"(Y/N)?"

You heard an all-to-familiar male voice call you, you looked up to see Jonghyun looking at you with worried eyes, you looked a different direction to avoid eye contact with him.

"Yes? What do you need?"

"I saw you running with teary eyes, I just wanted to see if you were OK."

You looked at him, he was actually serious, how could he be like this. At first he's such a nice guy, then he could turn cold as solid ice, and then a serious looking guy. How could he be like this?

"Yeah...I'm fine I'm just...I needed some time alone because...I saw something that broke my heart in two. It came out of no where, like a surprise."

He looked down, he knew how you felt, he didn't mean to break your heart. It was all his fault.

"Well, I have a surprise for you, are you going to the dance tonight?"

You nodded your head 'yes' as Jonghyun smiled, he sat next to you in an empty seat and said,

"Meet me by the bleachers at the dance, OK? I'll see you there!"

And with that, he just left, you were confused yourself. What you didn't know was that he was trying to plan another way to ask you out, you were in for a great secret surprise from a secret someone.

//-THE TIME AT THE DANCE-//

You were entering the school gym, people dancing, eating, having a blast, while you were sitting on the bleachers with no one to talk to or any one to dance with. You already thought it was no use to come, no reason to buy your light red dress with a small black bow in the back, no reason to be wearing your make-up, no reason to even be here. You were about to get up and leave when all of a sudden the principal came up with a microphone in their hand, you thought it was just announcements when the principal said,

"Well before the dance ends, we have a little something for one person, can we get (Y/N) up on the stage?"

You looked at everyone when they started cheering you and chanting your name, you walked up the stage and stode there when the lights dimmed down and nice light colors like pink, purple, and blue. When the lights had hit you, one of your favorite song of SHINee came up. Oh, did I forget? Yes, you were a big fan of SHINee, that's one thing you liked about Jonghyun, but you liked everything about him. Jonghyun came out and asked you to dance with him while the song was playing, you obliged and danced with him, you both danced happily. When the song had ended, he held your both of your hands and said,

"(Y/N), will you be my girlfriend?"

You almost cried to death (which I'm pretty sure that can't happen), you were so happy that words couldn't even come out of your mouth, you just nodded and hugged him. Since then, word was now out saying that you were the popular kid in school's, Jonghyun, girlfriend. You would never change it.
