✨Counting Stars✨ _Onew x reader_

~/Hello again! I have a Onew imagine now! Suprise! XD Anyways, this was requested by InsanelyAdri and this is lose off One Republic Counting Stars, please check the song out, I hope you like and enjoy it. I appologize if the begining was a bit dramatic or sad for you, but I'll be making a Taemin imagine soon to make you all feel better XDD. So thank you and enjoy!\~

"Fine then be that way!"

"Excuse me for being such a good girlfriend, a true girlfriend at that matter!"

The argument went on and on, this was probably 7th argument you both had now, Onew was cheating on you behind your back. He 'already' had a 'girlfriend', it hurt to much that you just wanted it to all end.

"Then maybe we shouldn't even be together anymore. Since you already found your one true love now, I reeealy hope your happy now."

You said, walking out the door. That paragraph just now broke his heart, watching you leave out the door was the one thing he didn't want and he promised you. Thanks to him, he screwed up yours and his relationship together, he actually thought it was meant to be with you; but now he wasn't even giving you his chance nor your's.

~/PRESENT DAY\~
:_Onew's P.O.V_:

That was a long time ago, (Y/N) and I broke up since that fight. Now, I broke up with the girl that (Y/N) and I have been fighting on, it felt right but wrong at the same time; knowing that I can't have (Y/N) back. I was now a leader and singer to a boy band, I haven't heard from (Y/N) for a while, it was all thanks to me. Since then, the only thing I was doong was praying hard and counting stars...not the money I had as a singer.

"Hyung! You counting stars again?"

Minho asked walking to me, my eyes locked to beautiful dark sky, it was the only thing I did now a days, the only thing that made me think (Y/N).

"Sorry Hyung, its just, I can't get my mind off of it. It's taking over me, I can't sleep, can't even eat, can't look forward."

"Maybe you need to talk to her, it will help."

"I'm not that bold, Minho. I'm still young and I'm just doing what I'm told."

"Come on Onew Hyung, trust me, it will help. Your world isn't sold yet, your world is still yours if you give it a chance."

I thought about it, maybe Minho was right, I can still have a chance, and if I do; I can burn the money I have and sing the lessons I have learned. I should, its the only way to think forward, for my sake and (Y/N). I looked back at the stars, counting from 3 to 18.

"Maybe (Y/N) is counting the stars too."

:_3rd person P.O.V_:

Indeed you were, you were still single, nothing from your ex, Onew; of course. You've been doing the same as Onew, except you've been praying not counting the money you had as a (job here).

"Come on (Y/N)! You need to keep your mind off that little thing you use to call your boyfriend."

Your best friend said, trying their best to cheer you up, trying to make you smile again.

"I guess you're right, we could go out to eat tonight! What do you say?"

"Sure! I'll see you in a couple minutes, I'll meet you at the front of McDonalds!" (A/N: XD idk I was craving McD...anyone thats in McD right now eat well for me XDD)

"Alright, see you there!"

You said your fairwell to your friend and went to your room to get ready, you put on a nice blue striped shirt and black leather tights (A/N: I hope thats a real type of clothing XD), with it; you put on your navy blue shoes with a white bow on your hair. You fixed your hair and left to meet your friend at the resturant, little did you know, Onew was going to the same resturant as you. When you and your friend had gotten your seats, you turned, since your friend was shocked in front of you, you saw Onew with the rest of the boys. You turned back to the way you origanilly sat and just sat there taking a sip on the drink you got, when the boys were going to get a table, the four men and Onew passed by you and your friend. They sat across from you but in a spot you and the boys and see eachother, when you and your friend were waiting for your food, Onew was just staring at you the whole time, he didn't even know why, your presence and tiur beauty just mesmerized him like you did before; when you two were together.

"Hyung, if you still like her, then go get her back!"

Taemin said, trying very, very best to cheer his hyung up.

"I don't know Taemin Hyung. I still like her, but I wonder if she still likes me."

"You might never know, she still might love you."

When the waiter brough your food, you and your friend dug in, the boys soon got theirs too. I tried not to spill the beans, but I dropped the bag, you were watching Onew as well. You did it when he wasn't watching you, as you tried to finish your food, your friend had to go to the restroom; so you stayed in your seat waiting for your friend to come back. You could lie, but it'll probably kill you, forget that you'll feel alive; you still loved Onew! You were too afraid to admite it, you wanted to tell Onew but now that he's here, you're considering it. Your friend came back and was ready to leave, so you both leave the resturant. Before you left, you 'accedentally' drop a paper in front of the boys, the exit was near them so you leaft there. As Onew picked it up, he saw his old love come back again.

'Let us count the stars again, not count money or dollars, but stars. The ones I stare to see you again, and love you again.'

Onew smiled, he went to the excact place where the little note told him to go, he waited for you and when he saw you; boy did he run to you and give you a hug.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Please, I want my shooting star back, please let me be yours again!"

He broke down on you, you held on tight to him, as tight as you can, telling you will never let him go.

"You will and always be mine. I love you from the stars and back, not even money can replace you. I missed you....my loving Onew."
