Jiha: mama!!
When jiha said that word, both seokmin and Joshua froze in their places no words are coming
All were stunned in their places, seokmin try to take jiha from Joshua but jiha whined in her sleep tightening her fist around Joshua's dress collar
Joshua look at seokmin with helpless eyes, he also wants to give jiha to seokmin but he can only do that when she release his dress
Jeonghan who was watching this all silently, step forward to make things easy for them
Jeonghan: seokmin!! Why don't you have lunch until then me and shua will stay with her in your room, looks like she's really so tired and disturbing her sleep will only makes things worsen
Seokmin was reluctant but he had to obey jeonghan so he nodded and released his grip around jiha's wrist and step backward
Jeonghan: hoonie, can you serve them their lunch, I will be in seokmin's room with shua
He asked help from jihoon who was frying fish pieces for them in lunch
Jeonghan then turn to Joshua and smiled at him encouragingly
Jeonghan: let's go shua!!
He then guided Joshua to seokmin's room, Joshua can feel seokmin's eyes on his back but he is helpless here so he followed jeonghan closely
After entering seokmin's room, Joshua try to put jiha on bed but still she didn't release her grip around his dress so he have to sit on the bed cross legged and lay her on his lap rocking side by side while patting her chest so tenderly
Her grip around his dress loosened a little bit the grip was still there
She keep mumbling "mama" in her sleep
Seokmin hastily finished his lunch and sprinted to his room only to see Joshua was humming softly while patting her chest in rhythm
That sight stirred something in seokmin's chest, his chest tightened, he felt guilty, he felt sorry for jiha
She never asks about her mother, but he knew she craves for mother's love so much even though she's just 3 years old but still she knows how to hide her pain from her papa
Seokmin always tries his best to give both father's and mother's love to jiha, but even though he tries his best nothing can fill the void of a mother
He is greatful for Joshua for what he is doing but he doesn't wants to get his hopes high, he don't want jiha to get attached to Joshua because when they returns to Japan then who will calm her down like Joshua is doing now, he's just too scared to gets his hopes
Seokmin blink the tears that was ready to come and come inside the room while clearing his throat
Seokmin: is she asleep??
Joshua look up and shh-ed him not to talk as jiha was frowning in her sleep
Jeonghan signaled seokmin to sit beside him which seokmin did
Jeonghan: Joshua tried so many times to lay her on the bed but looks like she doesn't wants to
He whispered lowly in seokmin's ear
Seokmin: but if it keep going on like this, then it will be hard for us to calm her down when we return to Japan
He whispered back to jeonghan but Joshua also heard that
Seokmin just looking at them with helpless eyes but he also admire how Joshua handling it
Jeonghan then went back to downstairs to have his lunch and after sometime he comes back with some lunch for Joshua
He then started to feed Joshua while seokmin working something in his laptop, sitting right infront of Joshua
After feeding Joshua, jeonghan went back to downstairs leaving seokmin and Joshua alone with jiha who is still sleeping soundly in Joshua's lap
After almost 2 hours later, jiha slowly open her eyes and then squinting her eyes to get a clear view
Jiha: mama!!
She again called Joshua with her soft innocent voice, seokmin look at Joshua with something he doesn't know yet
Joshua smiled at her and make her sit on his lap properly
Joshua: baby, i am not your mama
Hearing this jiha looked down pouting
Jiha: but jiha saw mama in sleep
Hearing this both Joshua and seokmin frowned
Seokmin: what do you mean by that princess!!
Jiha look at seokmin and then look down fidgeting with her fingers
Joshua: baby can you tell me what did you saw in your sleep
Jiha: you said you are not my mama
She said pouting more
Joshua: I can be your friend though
Hearing this jiha's eyes lit up
Jiha: leally!!
Joshua: hmm!! Now tell us hmm!!
Jiha nodded and make herself more comfortable in Joshua's lap, resting her tiny head on Joshua's chest
Jiha: jiha saw a aunty is pushing jiha away and jiha got scared and cried for mama and then I saw you, you come to me and carried me and kish my cheeks!!
She finished her dream which left both seokmin and Joshua in shock but someone was smiling all to himself
Jeonghan who was coming inside seokmin's room to give them paan but stopped at the door frame when jiha started to talk
Jeonghan: almighty, is this their destiny?? If yes then please let it happen!!
He prayed in his heart and come inside the room
Jeonghan: oh my jiha baby, you are awake!! Come to your hannie ma!!
Jeonghan said giving the paan to seokmin and extending his arms for jiha to hug him
Jiha giggled and jumped on jeonghan wrapping her tiny arms and legs around jeonghan
Jeonghan swirl her one time and kissed her both cheeks
Jeonghan: shall we go and give something to eat for your tummy hmm
Jiha: yesh!! I want mama to come with me!!
She said climbing down from jeonghan's arms and climb into Joshua's lap
Joshua: sure what jiha baby wants to eat hmm!! Does jiha baby eat fish!!
Jiha: jiha wants fish!!!
Joshua: then let's go!!!
Joshua then left from there with jiha in his arms, while jeonghan stayed with seokmin
Jeonghan patted seokmin's shoulder
Jeonghan: almighty sometimes gives us something unexpected in unexpected times to fill the void and to make it up for the pain he made us go through!!
Saying this he also left from there leaving seokmin with full of questions
