Laura
There I was on the stage in front of the whole school. Everyone was watching. Everyone knew who I was and now everyone hated me. I was embarrassed and humiliated. I would never have a life again. I could never show my face again. The worst part is that I have to come back here next year.
First year of high school. It started out great but then it got bumpy after that I was practically dead. I hated the first year of highschool. This is how it happened...
I was nervous. Really nervous. New school, new friends and more work. I stepped inside my new school. I got my locker number and my classes.Fortunately my best friend Jelissa had all the same classes with me, so maybe high school would be fun. That's what I thought.
"This is great! We have all the same classes and there are so many clubs we can sign up for." Jelissa said checking out the bulletin board. "Drama club, singing club, dance club and theres even a girls club!" I looked at the board and smiled.
"Girls club seems cool, but what would you even do there?" I asked.
"I dunno. How 'bout we check it out? Theres a meeting after school." She said.
After school we decided to check it out and there were only a few girls. After a few minutes of just talking a bit 3 girls stepped up in front of everyone.
"Welcome to girls club everyone! I am Chelsea and these are my best friends Faith and Hope." Chelsea said.
"And before you ask, no, we are not twins." Faith said.
"We're not even related, so anyone who thought that get out!" Hope yelled. No one moved.
"Come on people be honest!" Faith yelled. Then everyone left. Everyone but me and Jelissa. The 3 girls walked up to us and smiled.
"You guys are now apart of the girls club." Chelsea said.
"Congratulations. What're your names?" Hope asked.
"I'm Laura and this is Jelissa." I said.
"It's nice to have new comers to our little group. Originally the girls club was made for talking about normal girl stuff like boys, clothes, makeup and some other stuff." Chelsea said rolling her eyes. "But really this is a group who rules the school. So if you don't think you can handle this, get out." Jelissa and I looked at each other and nodded.
"We're in!" I said. Then Jelissa shot me a weird look.
"Great we meet here after school everyday. Don't be late!" Chelsea exclaimed and then they left. After they left Jelissa turned to me.
"Why did you say yes?" Jelissa asked.
"I thought that nod meant 'lets do it'." I said.
"No the nod meant 'I'm not ready for this'!" She screamed. "I'm just going to tell them that we quit." Jelissa started walking to the door and I ran up to her.
"No! I'll tell them." I said. Jelissa gave me a half smile and then left.
Chelsea
Me and my girls waited out side the door. We expected for them to follow us out. I guess they were doing they're happy dance. Finally Jenna or what ever her name is came out and gave me a little wave. What was up with her? Then Lisa or Lauren? Whatever her name was came out and came towards me.
"Hey. So what's up?" She asked casually.
"Would you maybe want to come to my house?" I asked. "Faith and Hope are coming too. And what was your name again?" She nodded.
"Laura." She said.
"Oh yes. Well let's go. I texted Alfred and he should be here shortly." I said walking to the door.
"Who's Alfred?" Laura asked.
"He's Chelsea's limo driver." Hope said.
"Hope! I can speak ya know!" I yelled at Hope.
"What happened to Damian? I liked him." Faith asked.
"Oh my gosh Faith! I like told you this 2 weeks ago. Damian was like 80! He drove like a grandpa and was practically blind." I said.
"So you fired him?" Laura asked.
"He had a heart attack before I could fire him." I said opening the door.
