Ronja accompanied them as the group went back to the front desk and asked for Suki. She was more than happy to go with them and immediately consented to being recorded.
"Hi, I'm Suki," she introduced herself to the camera, "and I've been working at Hoffman Hotel for around seven years."
"Have you experienced a lot of paranormal stuff in your time here?" Sam asked.
"I wouldn't call it a lot, but one or two things, yeah."
"Justin said you once actually saw Ilse. Could you tell us when or how exactly that happened?" Colby inquired.
"Sure, we can go to the ballroom if you'd like. That's where it happened." Suki started walking across the lobby, bringing the group of three to the doors of the ballroom. Sam recorded Ashley as the doors opened, capturing her crooked smile.
"Here we go again," she chuckled, stepping over the threshold.
"So, I was standing over there, talking to a guest," Suki narrated, pointing at the door that was meant for the employees. "It was in winter or late fall, so it was pretty dark, especially because it was late enough that we had begun to turn all the lights off already. And I look over the guest's shoulder into that corner," she pointed at the one furthest from the group. Heavy curtains were pulled to the sides, Ashley remembered them covering the windows on their first visit.
"And I just see this figure standing there. At first, I didn't pay attention to it because I thought it was just another employee, but as it didn't move, I got confused. When the guest was finally satisfied and I told him to go back to his room and looked back at the corner, no one was there," Suki said. Ashley's eyebrows shot up.
"That's crazy," Colby said. "It was like a full-on shadow figure?"
"Yeah! A little bit smaller than her," Suki pointed at Ronja, who was around five foot three, "and right in front of the curtains. It can't have been a trick of light either because the curtains or lights weren't moving."
"And how did you react to that? I mean, that's pretty scary, isn't it?" Ashley asked.
"I hadn't been working here for long at that point and I didn't know anything about the ghost," Suki said, "so when I talked to a friend about it as a joke, she got completely serious and told me that I'd probably seen Ilse. I hadn't got startled or anything when I saw the figure, but later that scared the shit out of me. Sorry, I shouldn't say that," she chuckled. "It just scared me."
"Oh, you can curse all you want on our channel," Colby said. "We're not going to get cancelled because of that." He shot a glance at Ashley.
"What did I do now?" she asked.
"Your... escapades with a ghost may get a little too risky on camera. We can never know."
"Oh, Jesus Christ, can you stop hinting stuff like that?" she sighed, burying her face in her hands. "Can we not forget that you've laid on a bed with ghost prostitutes at least twice?"
"What, at least?" Colby asked, laying a hand on his chest. She laughed.
"Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if you'd taken one of them home," she scoffed, which made his eyes widen.
"Yeah, well, who's ever said that it wasn't like that?" he said in a suggestive tone, making her laugh again. "I'm just saying," he added, shrugging innocently. "I'm just saying."
"Guys, we need to stop embarrassing people who are on the channel for the first time," Sam chucked, pointing the camera to Suki, who looked slightly discomforted.
